    I like ricotta cheese 🧀
    Like you use.
    A lot of people use cottage cheese. But the true Italian way is ricotta. 😊

    Hello Beth, thanks for sharing your many awesome talents with us. I’m impressed with all of your canned goods, it’s a ton of work to can food items. The pepper steak sandwiches looked so good. I’m doing my own version of a pantry challenge. I will be taking an inventory of my big freezer to be sure nothing goes to waste. And I’m determined to use up my home canned items to be ready to can more next summer. ❤❤

      Thank you so much! I’m super excited that you are doing the challenge with me. It’s exciting to see what things we can come up with just using our pantry’s 🥰❤️🙏🏻!

    New friend here. All you home-canned foods look amazing. The January pantry challenge is wonderful in so many ways, but especially because it brings such a sense of community to YT. I'm on my third year of the challenge, and will try to make it through January with zero grocery spending. I just realized today I'm almost out of garlic, so that is going to be tough.

      Welcome , Thank you so much! I agree it brings like-minded people like us together to make a wonderful community. Super cool on doing the challenge for three years now. I’m excited for the challenge and I can’t wait to see all the beautiful meals that everybody makes! Oh no hopefully you have some garlic powder on hand. ❤️🙏🏻🥰

      I chop my home grown garlic into small pieces and dehydrate. Only grind up as needed.

    How long does the canned whole milk lasts?

    • @ThePeacockHomestead
      @ThePeacockHomestead  14 дней назад +2

      I’ve used cans that were up to a year old here, but it’s supposed to last for five years.
