Hey Nate, just wanted to say that your recommendation from one of your other videos - to switch your phone to B&W mode - really helped me in minimizing screen time and feeling less stressed. So thank you! I love to see content about living more in the present and minimalism, keep it up.
I think I'm already doing all of those things and yeah they work great! Decluttering your phone is as important as decluttering your room and anything else. Great job with the video!
@@NateOBrien can you make video about your other businesses that you run with your brother I think it’s youtube channels and blogs, but can you go into a little more detail. Like how to start one, examples of such channels and what are you making from it?
Absolutely loved this video! I’m always curious to see what people have on their phones and how they organize their apps, especially if you’re more of a minimalist. Over the past several months I’ve become a lot more selective about what’s apps I allow notifications from and also what apps I keep on my phone period. Intentionality is key.
Its videos like these that make me feel like nowadays everyone optimizes the shit out of everything to get more productive without actually being productive.
Hey Nate, informative video as always. Maybe you can do something like this but talk about what you read, which podcasts you listen to, and give some review/advice.
Brilliant tips! I don't know if you did it on purpose, but the minimalism and calmness of the video itself makes you want to simplify your digital life🙂
PLTR! It's great that we keep getting opportunities to load up on PLTR. The majority of my holdings are Nasdaq, AAPL, DOW and TSLA. I got in early but I'm undecided whether to sell or purchase back at reduced prices owing to the present market condition.

This video helped me bc I never thought to make certain apps bigger. I made my notes and calendar apps big bc I need to see my upcoming events bc I have bad memory and I always use my notes. A video about your thoughts on 9-5s and maybe people who are successful with their 9-5 jobs. I have an 8-5, and I don’t mind it. Although I wish I didn’t have to work that many hours. I just started the job but I hope that eventually I’m able to ask for fewer hours or get fridays off. Or maybe a video about different insurance types and how to find the best ones out there. Or a video about your current investments and how you’re handling the current state of things with inflation and stuff.
Great calm video as always Nate! Any chance that you’re looking for employees/freelancers? Would love to get into a project with you and put my heart into it 🙌
About your messages you can turn off badges in the notification settings so you still get a notification from messages but you don’t see this giant number giving you anxiety!
with the overwhelming messages, you can turn the badges off so it doesn't show that little red number. alternatively, you can get someone you care about to help you sort through your messages
I put my picture as the background in case I lose my phone and got it back, it can be a proof. I ve seen others put their address or number on the screen saver in case they lose their phone too. But I dont know how to do it.
I was most surprised by your black background, it feels extreme, like some sort of subconscious self-punishment being rationalized. Those live 3D moving backgrounds really do drain the battery but a simple image, come on! why not have an image that is inspiring or motivating or simply pleasant to look at? Self-punishment can become so ingrained that you actually convince yourself it's a self-improvement strategy. What do you think?
@@leospeeds500 It's not all or nothing. Using a live background or a crazy bright image drain the battery, but it doesn't mean you should have a black background. There are other options like choosing a low light image or adjusting the brightness and contrast of a desired image.

Remarkable person reading this.. It’s going to get better; all it is a season of opportunity to grow and be better than before. Challenging times are meant to strengthen us, not to break us. Success doesn’t define to what happened to us; it is how we choose to deal with our circumstances. The more you grow and develop as an incredible person as you are, the more things will change for the better. Forgive more (for you), be grateful for even the smallest things (we have it way better than someone else), choose love over ego, choose humility over ego (humility is strength), and finally, invest into new skills so that your future self will thank you. Our lives will change forever the more we grow. Be thankful for the challenges for we know something greater is coming. Love you always - Nathalie ✨❤️
