This is the truth! God did this for me in my life. I had my LPN for 8 years always planning to go back to school for my RN but never succeeding. I was miserable working in nursing homes. I found Jesus after getting arrested and losing my license for a year, then He lead me to home health care which I loved as I leaned on Him every step of the way and was able to bring Jesus into my patient’s homes, then He lead me to going back to school for my RN now. He is my redeemer❤
I hate this Gnostic-like thinking. I am linear, and I don't mean to be that way. It is who I have been for 46 years, and I come by it naturally. I'm cause and effect, and this willing stuff to happen annoys me. I've played the game of willing things to happen and found out I can do it without Jesus, so what does that tell you? I want Jesus to be involved, but I shouldn't have to treat Jesus like he's some Gnostic secret.
I never said that you can't will things to happen without Jesus. You can. It's called witchcraft. In the example you gave its using the latent power of the soul to make things manifest. Several problems with that though, one of which is that whatever spirit aides in the manifestation of your will is the spirit that will possess your soul. When that happens other unfortunate manifestations will appear in other places in your life that the spirit is responsible for whether strange ailments, relationship fall outs and more. There are many things people do without Jesus and achieve and accomplish without Him that will ultimately amount to their suffering and to nothing: both in time & eternity. Even people who use the power of their will to make things happen and those who are actively in Witchcraft and sorcery are still using the utensils and elements that Jesus created to do their pleasure and accomplish what they are doing. The difference is that they enjoy the benefit & glory of the principles He created without giving glory to the ONE who created it and at the same time circumventing the One who created it. I don't know you sir but there are many levels to spiritual knowledge and Jesus Christ is the highest and Lord of them all. Yet all knowledge submits to Him because He made all things. You can operate from knowledge at a lower level that will lead to the futher fragmentation of one's soul by practicing spiritual laws outside the boundaries and wisdom of the Lawgiver. But you'll still end up imprisoned by the resultant consequence of your circumstance and decisions that you made spiritually. Hope this helps.
