Nice video. :) It's probably a light built Suprise. Like Fir/Fir or Bermuda Cedar/Bermuda Cedar. For missions teak/sabicu for example would be a better wood. Or try carronades on your Suprise for missions. They realy pack a punch! ;)
EduardoTheSpartan well you can buy it and if you play less then 2h you can always refund it at steam. If it is worth is a different quuestion. Tell me what would you expect it to be and I'll do my best to reply if it is worth or not. (writing from mobile so sorry if my post is brief and unedited)
it's all good, im just happy you replied. i mean for what i see the gameplay looks awesome, the controls look hard to understand at first but i will manage it. what i mean is if the game has good PVE, and a good numbers of players, because nobody wants to play in a empty sea. also i believe i saw you say in a comment that you were kinda disapointed with the game.
"Actually these vids are pretty old, sadly i have stopped making Naval Action vids as basically Naval Action stopped to be what I was hoping it would become a long ago. Too much crafting, too many upgrades as opposed to the initial pitch that the game was a game of skill. Now sadly it's just another world of upgrades game. If it ever changes I will revisit it..." this was the comment i believe
Came back from vacation, will boot it tomorrow and let you know. True i am a bit disappointed with crafting, but i am playing it again as combat is awesome, so let me play a bit then ill have an opinion ;-)
To give you a first reply on these. PvE is combat orders, and AI for the fights is pretty decent. I have gotten my ass handed to me on numerous occasions. That being said as of 2017-08-09 i saw 437 ppl online which is not a lot (as server usually takes up to 2000), and average on afternoon goes to 700s, so decent player base but by no means packed. I am waiting for Naval Action Legends (a PvP arena style game to see how it will hold up), as for me the combat orders, with an occasional player coming in are as much fun as you can hope to have. The massive PvP fights are few and far between. I love the combat, that part is amazing. The world is beautiful, but not crowded with players. So given what you have written, i'd perhaps wait when its on sale as 36 Eur does sound like a premium price, so buy it only if you are ok with fighting AI ships and doing lots of it.
