Working on bringing my 1977 FJ55 back to life. This is inspiring. What a beauty.
Awesome mate, good to here
That's a bloody beautiful pig , i first learnt to drive in one my parents towed the caravan all over SA and NSW with it bloody reliable machine it just needed a/c and a 5speed , back then they were everywhere now all disappeared , i guess just rusted away in paddocks now 😢
Love the two tone paint man it's one cool rig
Neat hey
This is a very awesome 🐷! Fantastic work
Cool hey
Must be the only one in existence
You could watch them rust away
That’s very nice 😍😍👍👍👍
Dad had one when I was a kid in the 80s in Papua New Guinea...I love it!
Very cool
Same here. Mt Hagen. One of my earliest memories is of my dads one.
Sweet. Just picked up a 3B and H55 I’m about to put in my 55 I picked up from CA. Super excited.

Went to fraser in the 80s in a fj55 love it thats the truck that got me into 4x4s
Very cool mate, Fraser would have been a lot less crowded too.
My first 4WD was a FJ55 2F petrol motor barn doors poo brown and white paint job original 140000km we did a 6 week trip to WA up the coast to the Kimberly Wolf Creek down the Tanami Track to Alice a 15000km and the truck didn't miss a beat fantastic wish I still had it

Possibly may be something that you guys may be able to sell. 16inch “Factory Look” rims with hub caps for the retro refresh. I have seen some really expensive 15inch skinny versions available in the states and a couple of people on IH8MUD commenting but nothing available.
Had lots of inquires true mate
She fukin cool thats for sure.. Credit to the builder
Good car👍🏻
Great youthful memories...
I would love some wheels like that on my HJ61. Can you find out who made them??
One for Google matye, unless he comes back one day
@@MrLandcruiser Hopefully he’ll see this video and answer for us ;)
I have one fj55 to restore. Its a 73 and is has the orihinal motor and transmision well almost everything. Mu question is wjat you guys think is it a good idea to keep it original or is better to change the enhine
Original for dollar value, change the motor out of fun for modified cars. Myself original
@@MrLandcruiser thanks for your answer i really apreciate it
