Omg I love the way you edited this with pulling every book off the shelf 😍 it’s so aesthetic!! I also appreciate the mini reviews about nearly everything you have read that must’ve taken so long but it’s very appreciated! 🙌
Hello Katie, I know we don't talk about it in this video, but I just wanted to say that whenever you talk about your diabetes management, you have no idea how much comfort it brings me to hear another girl going through her day, reading and enjoying it, with all the challenges and ups and downs diabetes can bring along the way. Thank you, and please, share more whenever you feel it!
Omg this means so much to me! Thank you. It is such a relief to know that I’m not alone. Cause it feels like that a lot. Cause no one in my life really gets it. Thanks for reaching out. You made my night
The algorithm is working strangely today. How did I not know you even had a booktube channel! Awesome video, and loved the high school reference to “And then There Were None” :)
Katie! This is honestly the best shelf tour video I have ever watched. Usually I get bored - BUT - not this time. I love how you add personal touches of things that mean a lot to you. I also do that. Well done! Bravo! Fantastic video.
I love this, as someone who is not typically a re-reader and who does not have much bookshelf space, this all really speaks to me about just saving/ shelving the books you loved. I keep filling mine without reading so I’m working on that (damn you, shiny new library ebooks!) but I’m actually looking forward to unhauling ones I didn’t love to my favorite local used bookstore where others can find and enjoy them. Also I’m a brand new sub (hello!) thanks to MegWithBooks’s recent video with you- came for your energy and I love it here! ❤
What a cool bookshelf! I love all the things you have from friends and family and the little books your dad made! So cute! You have a really impressive book collection! Also, I had no idea you were an actor! It makes sense with your wonderful personality from RUclips. I want to be a professional TV writer (working on it), so seeing those glimpses are awesome. Thanks for the tour! 💜
🍊🍊 Yes, love how the video turned out! It was so nice hearing little bits about each thing as you showed them. Also loved the overview at the end so we could also see your TBR as well. 😁
Just wana say I dissected this video and went through and looked up all the books that I haven’t already read and added them to my Goodreads! Love it Katie! Thanks for taking the time to make this!
This was so great! Fun and informative. And as someone who has random things around my house with so much meaning, I loved hearing about the meaning behind all of the non-book things on your shelf! 🍊
What a gorgeous shelf 😍 the diviners series covers ALWAYS catches my eye. The covers are STUNNING 🤩 P.s can ur dad do a tutorial how he makes them little books? Because as someone who can’t have shelves because of space I’d love a mini library instead 🥴😂
It's not often I just sit and stare at a booktube video, but you made it. AMAZING book shelf tour! You also really made me want to only own books I really love, so good bye to just ok books 🤗
Loved it! Books will be number one, but right behind it is video games. I can't display mine, but I have the original Atari (the ones with joysticks), Intellevision, the original Nintendo, Super Nintendo, PlayStation 1-4, the Wii, and a PSP. At some points I did have some Gameboys, but I gave them to my second cousin since he was interested. Some of the game consoles were gifted to me after my grandpa died like the Atari, Super NES, and the PlayStation 1. The Intellevision was my mom's, but the rest I bought except the Nintendo, that was a Christmas gift. A lot of those books I have read or own and haven't read yet. Currently reading My Best Friend's Exorcism and loving it. Takes me back to childhood because I was just a little thing in the 80's. Made me laugh when I realized what year E.T. came out, I was only a year old, but I adored that movie and still have a stuffed animal E.T.. Love that the chapter headers are songs of the 80's. That novella by Frederik Backman I am planning to read this month and it is because you and all the videos that people made. I can thank Gavin because that's how I found your channel. I am prepared to cry, should be therapeutic because of the subject matter since this happened to both my grandparents and crazy enough to my dog. Your dad is awesome! I loved the details he had on those books and the ornaments were so cute. Also, loved the sharing of the pictures of your niece and when you were young, adorable. Loved the artwork! I cannot draw worth beans, but it gives me an appreciation for those who can, it really is amazing. My oldest son keeps getting better with his art that my walls in my cube at work are covered with his art. He even drew Pikachu! Keep doing what you do best which is a lot of creative things! 😊💕💕💕🍊🍊🍊
I usually really agree with your book choices and reviews but this one "The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires" took me by surprise. I finished it but only because I thought it was so bad that it was almost funny.
I love this so much! Your shelves are beautiful and just inexplicably fit your aesthetic. Watching bookshelf tours are so cool to me because you get so much insight on a person--what they love, what they value/consider to be important, and what their favorite books are! 🍊
🍊 Thank you for sharing. I absolutely love your videos and you have given me some great reads. I just finished watching The Promised Neverland and will be reading it soon because of you.
I absolutely love that you display your gaming systems. I wish I still had all of mine ( it was lost in a flood) but I will politely take this idea and display some of my current systems I don't play anymore.
I used to buy books in bulk and reading only a handful of them, as a result every time I’d look at my bookcase it made me feel extremely anxious and like I was failing my reading goals. I turned that habit of bulk buying books around, I now mostly read on kindle and only buy my 4 and 5 star reads so looking at my bookcase now brings me sheer joy. To this day, I don’t understand how people can stand looking at piles of books they either hated or haven’t read yet.
Killing Stalking is just so good. I read it as it was being published and would love physical copies, just to get to experience it all over again. So glad you like it.
Katie! You jumpscared me! When you’re talking about Just Like Mother you move the book so the light white outs the eye and I thought for a moment the cover had somehow rolled its eyes!
I have the same unhauling mania and I'm keeping only books I know I'll re-read and I love them so much. So I have only 55 books plus 2 Harry Potter series (in Slovak and English). And I need to buy 3 more.
Love your bookshelf, it looks gorgeous and it was so interesting to see what books you have! Ever since I saw The Girl with All the Gifts on your bookshelf I've been curious to find out what you thought about it since it's one of my 3 favorite books of all time, so I guess it's a good sign that you kept it :) I don't know if you already know this, but the second book, The Boy on the Bridge, is actually a prequel and we follow different characters. Personally, I enjoyed that one too but it wasn't as good as The Girl, it had some rather boring parts and some really good ones, so you really don't need to read it (the ending was pretty cool tho, it's kind of a sequel to both books, but The Girl can definitely be read on its own). Thanks for sharing and have a good day!
I love all the little things your dad makes! That is so awesome and what sweet, unique, special gifts! I read Wolf by Wolf back in 2020 but haven't picked up Blood by Blood yet. I love your binders at the end there. I should start one for each of my daughters, as they both love to draw. My son as well, but his would be a lot thinner lol. And I have so many letters from my friend over the past 20 years of our friendship, all just in a drawer - making a binder like that would be a fun project :)
I’m new here but I’m curious about how you annotate. What do you do with the tabs? Do you go back and reference things that you annotate, and if yes, how?
The one book that you showed Like Mother with the doll on the cover really creeped me out ( haven’t read it) but I can have sworn the eyes moved when you showed it….
Came for the vibes, commenting to second the Harvest Moon love. Started on the OG gameboy which autosaved so you couldn't undo any decisions and probably shouldn't have been given to a child with as many anxieties as I did lol
I got a friend did that with a series .loved the first then there was others written and heard he did aways with certain favorite characters and didn’t want read them ..
I love Harvest Moon too! Did you see they're remaking A Wonderful Life for the Switch? I used to be obsessed with it on the GameCube. So exited, it comes out in June
Okay, your dad making you all those cute little books of your favorite books is the sweetest thing ever. 😭
this may be one of the only bookshelf tours I've watched all the way through. Commentary is 10/10 A+
Aw omg thank you so much, Sara!!!!
Omg I love the way you edited this with pulling every book off the shelf 😍 it’s so aesthetic!! I also appreciate the mini reviews about nearly everything you have read that must’ve taken so long but it’s very appreciated! 🙌
Aw thank you Gabby!!!
The editing was on point!! 🍊 "Leave an orange because Orange volume 1..." Oh, you mean the manga you didn't like? 😂
Thanks for the bookshelf tour. That was cool.🍊
Another Charles Wysocki puzzle stan, I love to see it!!! 🍊

Your anxiety makes you get rid of books, mine makes me keep them haha. Great book tour! Those little books from your dad are so cute.
Exactly. That’s a perfect way to put it for people who collect books. So that they understand my side of it compared to theirs. Thank you
PLEASE do an updated version of this i loved this 🍊
The algorithm is working strangely today. How did I not know you even had a booktube channel! Awesome video, and loved the high school reference to “And then There Were None” :)
Omg your binders for your friends and family are so cute!!
I wish more authors would do word play with their pen names like S.T. Abby 🤭
Katie! This is honestly the best shelf tour video I have ever watched. Usually I get bored - BUT - not this time. I love how you add personal touches of things that mean a lot to you. I also do that. Well done! Bravo! Fantastic video.

saaaame. I unhaul constantly lol I usually get rid of a book straight away after reading if I didn't love it

Great tour..my collection is big with books I have read and kept but my tbr I think is over 100+ unread books so far lol
I'm always so excited when bookshelf tours get uploaded. I loved hearing about each book! 🧡🍊🧡🍊
🍊🍊 Yes, love how the video turned out! It was so nice hearing little bits about each thing as you showed them. Also loved the overview at the end so we could also see your TBR as well. 😁
🍊 yours is the first I didn't skip through. We have similar book tastes, which I knew because of Goodreads
I'm taking so many screenshots to add these books in my shelf!!
Just wana say I dissected this video and went through and looked up all the books that I haven’t already read and added them to my Goodreads! Love it Katie! Thanks for taking the time to make this!
Aw thank you so much, Jenn. That is such time and care put in by you and I appreciate it.
This was so great! Fun and informative. And as someone who has random things around my house with so much meaning, I loved hearing about the meaning behind all of the non-book things on your shelf! 🍊
these shelves are IMMACULATE 🍊

finally sitting down and watching this I’m so excited!!
YES TO UNHAULING BOOKS AND KEEPING A SMALLER AMOUNT OF BOOKS. literally me with my bookshelves. I am exactly the same way
I have a copy of Zeus Grants Stupid Wishes! I haven't reread it in ages, but I thought it was hilarious!
Such an amazing bookshelf tour!🍊
An actor and an artist? Talent!
🍊 -writes down all of Katie's favorites that I will also be reading-
I usually really agree with your book choices and reviews but this one "The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires" took me by surprise. I finished it but only because I thought it was so bad that it was almost funny.
“One of the best books ever written, not just in my opinion, it’s fact: SIX OF CROWS” ❤
Omg I said that? Haha! Also, I forgot that this video came out today and forgot to promote it 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
Last year I unhauled all the books that I rated 3 or lower. And now I feel like I need to go back and unhaul all the 3.5 star books that I kept…😂
One of my favorite videos you’ve ever done!! The editing was perfection❤️❤️🍊🍊
Gizmo getting the cameo he deserves 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 loved touring your shelves!! Can’t wait to have a bookshelves as aesthetic as these one day
This was a wonderful tour, loved how detailed you showed all the books! Also yes, you definitely should do more bookshelf tour in the future! 🥰🍊🧡
🍊 Watched this while folding my laundry and some how it ended with me added books to my online cart 😅
I love this so much! Your shelves are beautiful and just inexplicably fit your aesthetic. Watching bookshelf tours are so cool to me because you get so much insight on a person--what they love, what they value/consider to be important, and what their favorite books are! 🍊
I loved this kind of videos. Yes please every year. Thank you getting me back into reading again 🍊
I LOVE bookshelf tours !! 🍊
🍊
Thank you for sharing. I absolutely love your videos and you have given me some great reads. I just finished watching The Promised Neverland and will be reading it soon because of you.
Every book and trinket speaks so much about you and your personality, love it! And the family/friends mementos, so thoughtful and sweet! 🍊
Loved seeing your shelves in their entire. 🍊
Such a great combination of all the books you love and your little momentos. 🍊
I probably only read about 2 % of the same books you read, but I absolutely love watching your videos LOL.
You have to make a tiny bookshelf for all the books your dad makes! So cute 🥰
Loved looking at all your favourite books, my Amazon basket is full 🍊
I absolutely love that you display your gaming systems. I wish I still had all of mine ( it was lost in a flood) but I will politely take this idea and display some of my current systems I don't play anymore.
I really enjoyed this! 🍊
Can you do a video on how to read house of leaves? That is amazing you have all those tabs in that book.
I used to buy books in bulk and reading only a handful of them, as a result every time I’d look at my bookcase it made me feel extremely anxious and like I was failing my reading goals.

Love your bookshelf, it looks gorgeous and it was so interesting to see what books you have! I’m new here but I’m curious about how you annotate. What do you do with the tabs? Do you go back and reference things that you annotate, and if yes, how?
