@@StandTogetherCCI was abused and am being stalked still by pedophiles who made me paperwork disappear. They were jehovah witnesses who made my parents kick me out at age 12 because I was born a mute who was learning how to speak out loud. They killed many children in my family. There are many missing children who match my deceased family members names. Can someone please help me

Bless you, if you're one of the good ones. There ARE good people in the system doing the most good wherever they can. I just wish the system was also rid of corruption, and the workers it's claimed.... because the amount of harm caused by those workers almost makes your job a cancer on our society, and it never ever should have been that way. How can we combat that? ❤ Thank you

A 13 yo foster kid with borderline personality disorder and autism came to our care. The agency just told us she may hurt herself and has autism before the placement. then she set fire on our house, but cas never visited and asked us to keep her until they found a new group home. Her worker never visited our house for 3 months and she started a fire again a week after the first incident. She was never treated or had a consequence and made lots of life threats to everyone. Police came to us several times, then finally we could let her go after the police talked to the CAS to remove her from our house. We were requesting to move her right after she moved in. Do not ever be a foster parent with CAS Toronto. The best of this story is that we were reported and went to an investigation for not being nice to her. But we made a report against the workers who never did anything but the complaints disappeared cuz we were under a 3-month investigation and they postponed the meeting a few times for two months, which seems they know how to cover up their own mess and are so good at accusing foster homes.

For a REPUBLICAN FOUNDATION to talk about poverty and inequality sounds like a joke to me because they are the first people supporting the rich Number 1% population of America to preserve the status quo! Neglecting marginalized communities to lose access to SSI, affordable housing, and social programs that benefit the poor. Look at FL, a Republican State, where it is illegal to be homeless, but there are no places to place them. 85% of inmates are either homeless or have some kind of mental health issue, and there are no services to serve them either. So, #StandTogether and the Cock Brothers should invest in helping others not only to bring grassroots organizations to call and mobilize people to support more of their “candidates to Congress and President” but to hold them accountable when their constituents are affected by their own political agenda.
This is shameful! It is a disgrace! Because they helped elect a governor who does nothing for poor people, DCF, and are homeless!

When we seriously looked in to doing foster care and learned what it paid, I did the math. For fun. If you parent 24/7, it was .50 an hour. So I could not understand all the comments about “people just do it for the money”. I think abusers do it because they like control and abuse. Maybe some like the praise. But the money is not it.

As a foster parent I can absolutely promise that that small check doesn't come close to paying for what a child cost. But also this is misleading because these kids aren't taken because of poverty. Just look at the millions of kids than are growing up and have already grown through poverty and parents did just fine raising them. Poverty is just being used as an excuse of bad behavior.

As a foster parent of medically complicated children, I have had portions of my house destroyed and children run out of medical supplies that I have purchased. I don’t know how fast you think the government works but they would never get me a new window, or carpet cleaning supplies for the feces or an NG tube in any practical time for “supplies to be issued” to me.

People need to stop looking at a Foster care system as replacement for a family.
But in many ways can it improve.
One way is to Listen to the children: the child can be in control, they can voice whom they’re comfortable with whom they’re not comfortable with and things don’t always have to be dire. It just has to be making the child comfortable.
Because they’re out of very vulnerable development age and if you want responsible, emotionally, healthy adults eventually or even teenagers you’re going to have to set that foundation for them to be emotionally, healthy, and safe as children.
    Stop splitting up siblings.
Idk why they keep doing this but their family and they should be raised together and don’t let foster parents break them up . They’re raising kids not puppies so separation hurts HUMAN BEINGS 10x more than a dog that don’t know or care.
And stop telling the workers not to care. Stop removing the humanity from the job.
We have become so good at a removing humanity form every single job possible.
The Law, Tecahers, Customer Servuce! It’s TOO much!
We need humanity especially for this job!
Cuz these kids need people that care!

@@renarich4942 it's an industry. 90% of kids in care need not be there. I've interviewed 400 to 450 mostly former or current kids in care. 'They lied about my parents'. There's verified, published research that show they do more harm than good. As the poor life outcomes are no a correlation to being in care but causal. They have a cult like rationalization for the harms they do. No respect for the childsvwell being. When abused in care and the child comes forward they are harmed. Cover up after Cover up.

Then life hit me (severe debt payments, unemployment, etc) and I read history in university (majored in Engineering, took LOTS history side classes) and changed my leanings from that to being a full on communist.
