I feel that Alia and ranveer and have done a phenomenal job in this song be it dance or expression or energy or elegance its all there but i feel that beacuse everyone loves the dance so much they're not appreciative of the amazing singing of darshan raval he did an amazing job as well ❤❤❤
I think KJ really referenced SLB for this song especially because there was hardly any fast editing. Most of it was almost one steady shot which, in his recent films, SLB has become known for.
KJo was trying to do historic epic like SLB, but such projects cause a lot of controversy, so now he is doing a more indian soap opera-like movie while still incorporating epic elements of SLB movies.

Because THATS what Bollywood is about, classic Bollywood style and NOT modern style like Hollywood. I would say.....keep going Bollywood..... Such a beautiful song which grows on you the more you listen to it❤️ with stellar dancing from both Alia❤ and Ranveer❤ who look gorgeous (costumes are awesome)and the other dancers matched the choreography of the leads so beautifully❤😍♥️😊👏Visually stunning set, deceptively simple clever steps and the song itself sung so gloriously by Darshan Raval 🙏and Bhoomi Trivedi🙏it is such a wonderful treat to see Ranveer Singh back in form with his expressions,emotions and exuberant dancing skills together with Alia doing such a splendid job❤💕😊😍🙏I love Jayaji but why they decided to go with Ma'am in one glaring stance throughout the sequence is kinda surprising and a little jarring.Also Shabana ji could have had a more impressive look..wasnt bad, still...❤All the best and prayers for the movie to do really well 🙏😍Karan Sir,the choreography team and everyone who did the sets and everything else ,such an amazing delightful song and dance sequence ♥️👏🙏
And if you rewatch the Devdas reaction, Korbin had acting issues with the side characters......and not the 3 main actors.....he said it repeatedly couple of times in that reaction😂😂😂

What's considered over the top for today was the normal in 90's and early 2000's it was a film making culture back then,stylished film acting but if actors still currently do that it'll be considered over the top and ranveer was rejected bad in circus.It was cringe plus too over. So, you have to adapt to the current times.
