So we've had 33 C:S 2 tips for game play & now 22 fun facts! What should we get 11 of next?
I'm interested in the way you can purchase unconnected tiles to your starting square. What's the advantage? Does the 'new town' develop on its own, with a separate economy, kind of like the difference between a rich town and a slum town.
Do you have to provide road or rail networks between both? Is there a clear advantage to having an isolated town or a massive advantage?
People to collab with :)
I like being able delete garbage dumps and graveyards 😂
Yes, for easy building it's a good one. But for the challenge, I would like it if the garbage or the dead bodies would be added to other appropriate storage buildings.
Bulldozing a grave yard or lane fill should add ground pollution
Fir those of you who are not programmers; Adding an exclamation mark in front of a value or place holder, means "not".
So naming a rock "! rock" basically means "not a rock". Which makes her naming funny, if you know.
1:25 This attention to details lets me know that things that look weird are either oversights from the devs or, them not having enough time to complete the game. I'm just soo excited to see what Cities II it's going to be in 1 year.
Honestly, I don't think there's much things to be disappointed about except the performance. I will try from day 1 and hope that all the issues will be solved soon. This game has so much things in it's base and can't wait to try.
This is a great video. I thought we might have to wait a month or two after release before getting one of these, so it's nice to get it early!
Such a good video! Love it ❤❤❤
Im going to rename all props
More videos please! This one was great!
Can you make one about performance? FPS? What do you think would be the best hardware to have to run the game?
And well, liking a chirp is well, moronic (IMHO)
"Hydro lines". Canadian DETECTED
Can you tell how transport work? When I make one I don't know how to set the bus stops to make a good quality transportation
You can rename wild animals.
Being the lazy dick that I am, I name them all "Bob". "Hey there Bob, who's a good boy?"
Wonderful ❤
Yeah you are!
thanks Toadie to sharing this tips 👍👍👍👍
excellent video ty so much
Homeless tents...
Vary realistic
Great video 🎉
Then i will make it all the correct allas it already is Chirperville , then why not Chirperstreet since all of them shall belong to Chirper that was ever made

So may tips wow, only thing that bothers me I can't get the Trams and Metro to work over land. There is a bug in the game that I can't build above roads or when placed remove it. well hope in the next patch it will be out....

I just wish you could raise and lower roads/bridges AFTER they have been laid down. I will be waiting after release launch before purchasing CS2 to see if more detailing content, better performance and how the Mods system will work and wait for some much needed mods before I get CS2. Kind of disappointed with new game and some of the flaws and lack of content to start off with. Seems like a downgrade for me seeing CS1 is all built up and working great.
@@Sonathan1893.. Yeah, I agree the roads, Ai and game management is better than CS1... Yeah, not about the basics, but to me there are other issues that really should of been dealt with prior to the release. Thanks
0:46 What is a hydro pole? you know hydro means water right? Are you referring to the power poles?
It's a Canadian thing. I don't know why they call them power lines "hydro lines". Maybe they initially were used a lot for dams or something? Either way it is continually confusing.
Because in some Canadian provinces, they run on hydroelectricity, like Québec and Ontario.
@@samuellepage29 Still really doesn't make the lines themselves "hydro" anything
@@magnushmann In Québec, we call them "lignes d'Hydro" (Hydro lines) because they are owned by "Hydro-Québec" (our electricity company).
@@samuellepage29 and our grid is all Hydro powered
The thing about you can't add trees to an existing forestry area at 4:25 but if you change it's borders, plant, and put the borders back is a fantastic tip! I came straight here from '33 tips' I'm so glad I have found your channel, many thanks for sharing your experience in CS II
EDITED to add:
This is the first video I have watched that has mentioned homeless people, wow, CS II just keeps on giving 👌
counting down the days until i can put this to good use :)
I normally avoid videos like this because they take so much longer than it would take for me to just read the info, and I end up zoning out and losing attention; but you present the information in a way that doesn't use 400 words to say that "i" is the info overlay hotkey, and it's really nice.
I'm an info-reader too, rather than an info-watcher. I get you!
Another great video on C:S2 😁. Following on the tents of homeless people in parks: is there any stat/game mechanics related to homelessness? E.g. building low rent housing reducing homelessness?
It's nuanced, but generally yes? Haha. Basically you can take a bunch of different actions to help ensure the population can afford their homes overall.
Providing education them for better paying jobs, not taking all their money via 30% tax (but still not taxing them too low! Because that increases land value then they can't afford rent with such a high land value!), there's an upgrade to the City Hall that specifically helps with rent throughout the city, having low rent housing available, so on so on.
It's complex! Which to me makes it fun. : )
@@ToadieZzz Thank you so much for the response! It seems to me that this game adds SO MUCH depth to every aspect of the gameplay, that's kinda insane 😅. Oct 24th honestly can't come fast enough 😂. I for once am going to jump right in, despite a few things still missing (bike infrastructure? Props?), and I haven't play the first game for at least a month now, to get an appetite for it 😁
I've been inundiated with never clearing garbage. So with only 60k pop and after 3 recycling centres and 6 incinerators and it not clearing up, I said fugg it, and did the landfill trick. Took 10+ landfills and maybe a year but i finally saw the light at the end of the garbage tunnel.
Mail also seems to be bugging atm. Plenty of space at the sorting centre and post office but people are still complaining about mail not picking up.
Renaming a road DOES NOT rename the bus stops. This is not much of an issue but sure as H noticed it when trying to get an idea which stops a particular route was using.
When will be able to place props?
Call my rock of rock n roll 🤟😂
:26 ARE YOU KIDDING ME
Im fkin like this game. I hope u upload more interesting video🙌🏻
Hi Toadie... Any idea how we are to download this game using Paradox mod platform instead of Steam? Or will that simply show up there?
Hey! You just buy the game however you normally would - so it sounds like through Steam. Once Paradox Mods becomes available we'll likely get a button for it either in the launcher or in the game's menu. It's not available yet though! So no stress & just business as usual for buying/downloading the actual game. : )
@@ToadieZzz thank you. no no, i've pre-ordered it on paradox... and i have no urgent need to have to pre-downloaded (although that would be useful). So yes, let's hope for the best on Tuesday.... and that they won't ban from downloading the game either (they love banning people there).
@@macluk7531 Oh! I'm sorry, I totally misunderstood. It should definitely be business as usual!
