Fantastic interview. Jason is one of the most interesting traders out there in my opinion. The quote that I take away from this is when Jason says 'it's all based on what my process tells me to do'. Very simple and elegant and not wasting time in answering the unanswerable of why something happens. Traders job is to make money and not be an analyst.

Thanks Jimmy and Jason, one of your better guests. I actually listened to to it twice. Jason threw out some interesting facts on his trading ie only 38% of his trades make money and 97% of all traders loose money (me). I was also surprised at how little he trades. Great interview!

75 basis point draw down I would get stopped out many times before a couple of hours go by possibly. Fluctuations are so great currently. I do keep my stops tight though but try to avoid getting chopped up.
Not sure I agree with his comments on gold given this move especially given the pullback in the dollar but we will see.

Well, well....do you still have that opinion after today?
I mean, there are technicians who only win 25-35% of the time and yet are profitable given there edge on R:R. His approach yields the same results although he claims he don’t use charts. In my opinion I’m not impressed about his trading style. A lot of hedge fund managers don’t like to claim they use charts, but would rather say they have some sort of model etc to sound sophisticated. 🤷♂️
