There is a thing u can put ur Graphite pencils in if they get small or they keep breaking its a little pencil extension that u put smaller pencils in to make it easier to hold. I use them if my graphite pencils break I think u can get it at Michael’s craft store or online. It’s the Michael’s brand. There’s probably other brands that have them too. Idk honestly what’s it called. But if anyone wants to know I’ll look it up and tell u the name.
we use woodless graphite pencils in art class and every time one of those would roll off a table and we’d here it hit the ground the whole class would just sit in silence for a few seconds and feel the pain
One of my favorite art supplies are Pilot Color Eno mechanical pencils 😁! They have colored lead but they erase really well! You just have to be careful how hard you push down on the pencil or else it'll be impossible to completely erase.
i absolutely adore the inkjoy ballpoint pens, lots of texture and i’ve had them for a long time and done a ton of drawings with them. highly recommend!
This is one of the first videos from your channel I watched so idk if you tried them before but I really like paintmarkers because they kinda force me to simplify my artstyle
i actually found this really helpful! i knew about the different hardnesses of lead but i didn’t think about how it’ll affect the way lines vary! thank you !!!
I just found your channel today and honestly you're totally one of my favourites already! I fell in love with your drawings instantly. Thank you for sharing your work :)
The ecoline liquid watercolours, if you get them you can dip in the brushpens and it's like a water based version of chameleon markers. Just get the warm and cool primaries and white/black in the liquid paint and you can mix colours in the pallet. The white allows for making pastel colours. There is also a blender marker in the range which is worth getting as the effect is different than a waterbrush. And if you get various markers you can touch the tips to mix them, they won't stay dirty. Finally the liquid watercolour can be used to refill the pens so you won't need to ever throw them away!
Ok, woah I didn't go into this expecting for you to recommend pretty much all the supplies I use and love haha. Tombow markers are awesome, I love prismacolour pencils and stillman and birn zeta series! Do you like painting at all because I feel like you'd love the opacity and playfulness of gouache, holbein acrylic gouache is pretty nice :) and I love using refillable/recommend brush pens as paintbrushes, fill them up with water and you can take them on the go.
A really good eraser I use is the sakura arch foam eraser. It's really good as it's soft but doesn't split and it erases really well even with coloured pencils.
Tips for the Ecoline brush markers: •If the tip of the marker is damaged, just unscrew the part that is connected with the marker... There is another tip there that you can use! I've never changed one, though (got them for over 2 years). • You can use them like that or you can use them like watercolours! I love them as watercolours as you can mix them to your wanted shade! •Buy them in a pack if you can, its usually cheaper (I have most of them that I bought separately, so I don't buy them in a pack as I would have too many double ones). •Its way cheaper than alcohol markers and its great to learn how to use markers! •Use the right paper. I got away with using them in a very cheap sketchbook, but they feathered out a bit. Try them on your paper first (take your used sketchbook with you as you're buying the markers). •Use coloured pencils as well! They look sooooo good on them... Seriously, I love these markers and they last long, use them with any other medium like coloured pencils, ink and alcohol markers. •Buy them at your local art shop... Support those shops (I know that they are cheaper in my country, so why bother buying online for a higher price?). Plus, they know more info. 😉 There, if you have any questions about these markers, just ask me. I've used them for several years now and I love them! 😁👍
I passed by those Micron pens in an art store just this morning! I wasn't sure if they were any good, and because I already have a set of inky pens, I decided against purchasing. But I'll definitely go check those out when the time's right. Thanks! :D
Im not an artist or something, im just doing some work i have to do with this video in the background, because his voice is sooooooo relaxing. I wish there was like a podcast or something, lol
some of my my favorite markers are the Graphic Brush Drawing markers! I've had them for over a year and i use them all the time! they haven't dried out for me too which is great
sharpie oil based paint pens are my all time favorite walmart find !!!!! also daler rowney acrylic paint is super cheap at walmart but also such good quality for what it's priced at!
One of my favourite supplies and a rather good alternative for the woodles pencils are the big mine holding pencils(I have no clue what they are called...they are pretty much mechanical pencils but in the sizes of 2mm and upwards) Just bought a 3mm one and it is FANTASTIC. I think I have around 7or 8 right know and they are worth it.
architecture student here. the thing I hate about the microns is that they're not refillable (and we run out of them like crazy). also, the lines are not super consistent with microns. have you tried using Rotring pens? they are a little high maintenance but so worth it.
All the supplies are linked in the description!! I hope you guys try them out :)

You can actually blend the tombow waterbased dual brush markers. U can either add water to them, or use a colorless marker blender.
That pencil case is dope!
