Haven't taken a body off one of these before so...... Got the Oxy Acetaline topped off..... Fire up the torch!!!!
That's cool how you have Fred & Dave's youtubes. I have followed all of you for a long time now. Keep up the suberb fab and unique builds.
A project id like to do some day is a rwd fiesta with a 2.3 ecoboost mustang drivetrain.
Whoa bro! You should get some help in there with ya. A youngin that's looking to learn from you and muscle all those projects around the shop. We're not getting any younger 😳 and they'd learn a ton from you. Awesome vid. Keep em coming👍👍👍👊👊👊🤘🤘🤘
Great job
If you have to pull a ford body again, if I remember right, the ones that are torx on the bottom you’d pull a nut off the top and the bolt stays with the frame
Need to take all those pieces and pour them into an acrylic block desk or table. Nice carnage. 5.0 that junk. Or 7.3!
Looking forward to the 3.5 swap! Great video as usual👍
Thanks! 👍
great video thanks
Another great video 👍👍
What are some tips for some of us that would like to build a custom chassis for a vehicle? Interesting video, I'm curious how the Ecoboost will do in the jeep!
Can't wait to see the Eco-Boost conversion . great video Thanks for sharing. I have a question, will the work that the folks at Hot Wire are doing allow a direct plug and play install to the jeep? or will you use aftermarket gauges ETC.
Thanks, Dean
It will be a "hot rod" harness...so it I want to add guages they will be aftermarket
If you hold the throttle to the floor in a ford before you start it it will turn over so you can build oil pressure. It will start once you lift off throttle.
There ya go, it can’t be tight if it’s liquid.
Love the channel! You need a forklift, I bought one 10 years ago and it's a game changer for the kinda work you do! Keep being you!
Once I have the space I plan to get one
Way to go Ian. Man you know how to keep busy.
Thanks.....it really is a fun job TBH
Boa... sempre curtindo aqui do Brasil...
QUESTION: What are you usually watching on your phone while filming? I always see it playing in the background. Keep up the amazing content!
Everything...binge watch movies and TV shows.....really just anything that makes sound TBH
I got a question for you about a project Im building I have a tj with 4.0 6 speed 231 case and I have a 2005 superduty dana 60 And a sterling 10.5 the question is about suspension I was planning on running coils and springs in the front and coilovers in the rear but after pricing everything debating between ori ,coilovers or coils all around what is your opinion on ori? And why do people lean away from traditional coils when building a 1 ton jeep? The oris seem very popular on the east coast jeeps
Any suggestions on a 3.5l ecoboost in a 95 Bronco, bone stock? I'm I looking at a world of small things and a world of head scratching/google searches to make it work?
In other words is it a Do or Don't with what is available today for making a daily driver again? I miss my truck but not the gas bill.
Thanks for the years of 4x4s and welding
Lots of great content…need more Zelda! Love the show and channel
More to come!
Where did you get the engine conversion harness for the Toyota V8 swap?
Add a link for that QuickDraw radiator and intercooler to the description... can't find it in their website. Great video!
They don't have it on their site yet....but if you call em they can hook ya up
You need to dabble more in the Yota’s. You don’t have to go full in, but keep messing with them 2nd gens.
Dude I freakin love this rig
Could you tell me what that tune is playing at 16:50? It's stuck in my head and i gotta know what it is
Nice vid. Quick question about the shop why did you go with Dannmar lift vs BendPak or Rotary?
Honestly...color...when I was building the shop the Benfpaks were only avail in blue
Body off easiest way with the Ford's
Please more information on the Quickdraw cooling module I cannot find it in a google search
They don't have it up on the website yet....but if you call them they can steer you in the right direction
@@BigTireGarage Thanks
Hey Ian,
Just curious, do you have that Dakota with the service bed? If so, are there any plans to do something with it or sell it?
It just left today to a new owner
I work for a company that makes a bw4419 transfer case controller
Ian I love the show been watching since season 1. 2 Questions. I have a '69 FJ40 on 40's with a 5.3 Vortec, 4L60E, and Atlas. I spent the last year 4-linking the rear and getting to 109" wheelbase. It is mostly trailered but does see some on-road/highway. I am going to be linking the front soon and am torn on a few things. First, thoughts on using a MetalCloack lock and load from a Gladiator and modifying(custom brackets), 3-Link, or 4-link. Second, Thoughts on steering, stay hydro assist or go full hydro (I know full would have to go on the 4-link). Am currently running 9.5" Toyota center with a custom FF Diamond housing and RCVs rear and will be going to Diamond housing with RCVs in the front both at 65" wms-wms. Also if you have time for a where is it, first or second season you started a long travel rear on a FJ60 that never got finished.
are you selling any parts off of it.
i have a 2015 platinum expedition 3.5 e.b. but its an early build and didnt come with sync and i wouldn't mind buying your sync system to upgrade mine
Whole truck will be for sale 2G
@@BigTireGarage any chance it comes with the t case.

@Big Tire Garage wrong side of the country and nowhere to do the swap
I can't imagine how bad that thing is gonna be
Not sure if you have ever answered this, but ? What was / is your favorite build with Jessi Combs?
What year is that expedition and what plans do you have with it after removing the power train? 👀
Its for sale if you want it...2015
@@BigTireGarage what’s the price on it?
2G cash
@@BigTireGarage is it the EL? I probably should have asked that first
Hey Ian… what is Ryan Shand up to these days? I use to love watching him and Kevin on Trucks.
We just had him co host an episode of Car Craft TV...search Motortrend RUclips for LS BMW
I must have missed it, but why was that Ford X totaled? It had that little front end damage and lost the A/C condenser was all I could see in the vid?
Who knows, this is the second CoPart vehicle I have bought and was surprised to see how good it was
It was considerate of you to ask producer Matt what he wanted you to do with the body / frame of the Ford for the purposes of filming, even though you made the decision to do the opposite for reasons of practicality 🤣
It shows that I care
👍🏽🇺🇸👍🏽
All day body off...
Are you selling the seats? I’m local.
Selling whole truck...for cheap!!
I’m closing on a house in Maury County next Friday.
Detroit Wheels didn’t have anything?
Just started watching great show but man am I the only one getting blasted out the door when you go from talking to music that stuff BLARES! Like Volume 5-6 talking to 11+ with the music.
Message me if you are interested in parting out any of the expedition that you’re not using like the seats and so forth
I am wanting to sell the whole truck...shoot me an email at bigtiregarage@gmail.com
You’re going to loose your spare!
I wondered why he didn't make the inner circle the same diameter as the OE spare? Seems like there is not much wiggle room on that outer disk and if that slips, won't the whole spare just fall out anyway? "It's fine.."
Haven't lost ot yet
Why have my comments been deleted?
No idea...what was the comment?
@@BigTireGarage about me doing a 3.5 ecoboost in my xj
I did not see that comment.....no idea why it got deleted...sorry about that....did you have a question?
@BigTireGarage that's ok, thought I did something wrong. I have mine installed and made headers to bring turbos to the top, plumbing and finish wiring. Do you delete your rear 02s and evap on swaps? What transfer case? I have the ford installed, thought about 231?
too much electronic junk today.
