regular cab cummins XD that's a rare configuration. And with the gooseneck holes in the bed too.
The gooseneck will definitely come in handy as well. Especially since you can’t get a strong enough drop hitch!
I have a extended cab with the 5.0 , I don’t see many of them.

I’m about to buy a Cummins Titan, but I’m curious if it would just be better to get the 5.6 l Titan. The dealership I’m buying through offers a true lifetime warranty on the drivetrain without mileage or year limits, but I’ve seen people having turbo, DPF problems and part availability issues with the 5.0.
Warranty are one of the biggest part of buying a new rig!
If you want a really really fun option that sounds great and hauls ass get the 5.0. If you want an actual reliable chugger that will last for the end of time get the 5.6. Cheers!

What’s the lifespan you’d say for the Cummins engine before needing major overhauling (internals) etc not including the egr and dpf systems

I’d imagine you could get 130k+ out of the v8 diesel motor. The in-line 6 probably 400k if taken care of.
