Yes it’s really sad but the real problem is that they may have to end their careers if they come out as LGBTQ+ so of course they are scared i wish people would just mind their own business a little more :(
It's 100% impossible for every single idol to be straight, no matter how much people try to think they are. It breaks my heart to think that they can't be their true selves and possibly help so many people who look up to them, let's hope for a better future in which we don't have to hide who we love
@@sen7579 True but I feel like even if Idols were gay they'd convince themselves that they're straight and get into a straight relationship just because of how korea thinks about lgbtq and it makes me sad that people don't embrace who they are just because some other people's opinions :(
I get what you're trying to say but you still shouldn't say it's 100% impossible. Highly unlikely would probably be more appropriate. Because although I totally agree with you that people shouldn't have to suppress their true selves in fear of what others think. The same can be said for the opposite. I see a lot of people using what you're saying as an excuse to try and assume idols' sexualities (to be other than straight). Saying; because of such and such, this idol is this sexuality. Basically going out of their way to try and guess, then spreading misinformation. And that's just as harmful. So I think it's important to keep in mind, that although there could be idols unable to come out due to fear of repercussions, we won't know for sure unless they themselves say it.
They should have included the one where Yoongi(from Bts) said he didn't care about the gender of someone as long as he could feel comfortable with that person(along the lines of this don't know exact words)
+ Yoongi saying on radio his ideal type is tan macho men with beard 😂 + Yoongi explaining during a Vlive that he mades or read gay stories about a male singer and a male athlete. He never bothered hiding his sexuality and was already out at BTS debuts lol
Sehun is 100% not straight, he'd come out multiple times aND checks out thr male staff and stuff all the time😳 but yeah I understand why most kpop idols don't come out since ive seen what uts like for Holland (a gay kpop idol) and all the hate he gets :\

I hope the world still remembers such great things he's done for the community by using his fame and following for the awareness of such sensitive topics. We miss you Jjong. I'm glad how korean LGBTQ community still remembers him and does charity projects on his birthdays. Uwu
It makes me happy to see things like this where Kpop idols know their true self. I’m pretty sure there would be a lot more idols coming out if the lgbtq community was normalized in Kpop. Some toxic fans want all of their idols to be straight and nothing else. It’s sad😭
aw they missed Wonho, I was hoping they'd include him. He quite seriously said he didn't care about gender (as long as they could make ramen lol) bi king

Why are some people upset over their idols being gay or bi? Honestly i don't even care if they are straight, gay, or bi or any, I wish the best to them
Another idol who basically cane out is kangmin from romeo they asked his ideal type and he said "a boy like him" his grp members gave him a chance to "correct" his answer and he said again that he likes boys with his whole chest. He has some very cute moments with his member milo they have a lot of shippers
How could they not add bts jimin thou 🏳️🌈jimin checks out everyone... Especially that time when they were on vication and a group of guys were checking him out and he noticed and smalled and stuff

somebody said something on twitter that really made me think...there could be all these idols who are enby or prefer different pronouns but they're not allowed to say and we're just calling them the wrong pronouns all this time😭it made me really sad like imagine always being referred to as he/him when you're not but you can't tell anyone😭😭
It's sad to think, but also consider this: If someone were uncomfortable with being identified incorrectly to the point where you feel the need to pity them on their behalf, they prob wouldn't have put up with it for years and years (training and beyond), especially where idols are forced to accentuate either their masculinity or femininity based on their assigned sex. I'm not saying it's impossible, just that there prob aren't as many as you might be imagining so please don't be too upset
I watch some Korean gay and lesbian RUclipsrs, it's really deep, some were fired of their jobs, some were bullied, some were Send to convertion therapy, some where beaten... This happens all around the world, but I feel, like at least here in Mexico you can be gay and have a life, but you have the fear of being the victim of a hate crime... I remember this channel named Mango couple TV, they are activists of the LGBT rights there, they were protesting for them to have the same rights, and it's crazy how homophobia shows, like, what's the reason? I hate when people say Korea or any place outside the US is “ anti-gay “ because it sounds harsh ....when it’s just not apart of their culture and things take time you know? Also cultures like Korea & Japan gay or not don’t usually be so OPEN about their relationships anyway so everything’s pretty secretive only within friends and family do people even know your business which is also a little different than here in the US..but yeah I know it’s weird to want an idol to come out because like it’s their choice and time but I know how amazing that would be for many people in Korea so see an idol be so brave so in that sense I do look forward to it at the same time I’d rather then take as long as they want because it’s their life in the end
