I know next-to-nothing about Criterion films and stuff like that, but I do know a lot about superhero films. Thank you for making a video about them.
I’m a collector too I luv movies I’m slowly building up my collection but it all started with my dad getting me in to Star Wars and horror and monster films
I find it kind of interesting that Unbreakable was seen as the black sheep of Shyamalan’s early output. It was still seen as “good” but not held in the same esteem as The Sixth Sense or Signs. Over the years it’s been reappraised, I’m sure having sequels helped people go back to it, to the point where it has a 4K release and none of his other older titles do!
Unbreakable is great, though, and I don’t know which I like more between it and The Sixth Sense.
Oh interesting. I didn’t know that. I didn’t see unbreakable until years and years after it came out.

Hey DJ great video and superhero collection. The X-Men trilogy along with Logan are the best out of those films and I didn't mind First Class, but only seen it once. Man of Steel, Hellboy 1&2, Spider-Man 1&2, Wonder Woman, Captain America Winter Soldier are some at the top my list. I blind bought Paper Man and thought it was unique and interesting. Probably my favorite superhero TV series would be Smallville. I liked Arrow for the first few seasons and then it started to go down hill. You should pick up the Dredd 4k steelbook the picture looks great.
I'd suggest finding a way to put Birdman into every one of your rundowns.

I haven’t yet, but I’d like to! I’ll probably have to split that up into a few different videos though (Disney, Pixar, etc).

Agents of shield fell apart around end of season 2 beginning of 3, every season after just feels weird as they follow similar plot lines of the first just in different setting. You missed nothing.

You've never seen the other Christopher Reeve Superman movies! I'm a bit disappointed ...I could forgive you for not seeing Superman 3 or Superman 4 The Quest for Peace..as they are no where near as good as the first 2. But I don't know if I can forgive you for not seeing Superman II!!! It's often considered by many to be better than the first movie. I highly recommend you watch it.. watch the theatrical version first and then watch the Richard Donner cut.
