Thank you so much for making this video. It has saved me countless hours and money, I really appreciate you for taking the time. How could you find a problem with this effort on trying to help someone for free. Big thumbs up.
Thanks Peter couldn’t figure out how to replace seatbelt on a 2000 Nissan maxima no way to get access to screws near center console removed the seat to gain access to screws and seatbelt buckle bolt piece a cake thanks for the info. 👍🏻
Excellant video, but I'd have to agree with not taking the seat out. I used a box end ratchet wrench and changed it in under 5 min for my mom. I still watched the whole video because Peter was pleasant to watch. Kinda like when you drink a beer and watch your buddy work on his car with while you do nothing just because it's fun to bullshit with them.
there's another vid out there that shows taking out the console with 2 screws and the bolts inside the accessory box ....then remove the console and remove the belt latch....HOWEVER, they did not show the "safety part".....removing the neg cable BEFORE proceeding to seperate the seatbelt cable.....
Do you know about replacing the entire belt assembly? Mine is ripped and I need to replace it. Do I just have to disconnect the battery before unplugging the seatbelt pretensioner? Would there be any sort of programming?
cant wait til my latch comes from CAL.....unfortunately, not the seller....but USPS may have mishandled the pkg and may have to wait a few more days!!!!
i really like your videos but i change the seat belt linkage in 1 minute screwdriver and14 mm wrench,,no need to take seat out makes more work for you buddy
it sure wasn't quality when you had to replace your seatbelt buckle. that shouldn't happen. i remember when cars had metal seatbelt buckles, those things lasted forever without issues.

Hi Peter, thanks for your video. Can the airbag connector short circuit on its own and cause a fire beneath the seat while is car is stationary??
Yes it will

Computer
Could this work with a 2017 corolla?
Yes
Hi Peter, looks alike you can remove seat belt lock without remove the front sit, correct me if I'm wrong :)
axenz axtiz Hello. Sorry. It could be difficult. Please take seat off.
the pain is.....the 2 screws (lft and right) on the console....you have to use a very snub phillips or a screwdriver that is the "Z" type.....
cant wait til my latch comes from CAL.....unfortunately, not the seller....but USPS may have mishandled the pkg and may have to wait a few more days!!!!
