I think this game has some real potential for tactical play. The back and forth of the Reactor seems kind of annoying, I'm wondering why neither of them used their Battery to steal the third Large Black thus making a Stable Reactor, which only fires when you want it to . . . which usually is to your advantage (control over your choices, that is). What I haven't figured out yet is this; how difficult is it to get rid of the extra piece out of a Stable Reactor to get to a clean Powerhouse . . . ? mmm

+M Stone - good question, now I wish I had taken Andy's large black and made a stable Reactor with it!

This looks fun, but I'm curious as to what would stop someone from fishing around excessively. An experience pyramids player could have a better feel for the sizes, and the dice I would think would be easy to differentiate. Though i suppose the former is solved by the different colors and the latter would be limited just by strategy. Though it means the die would only get plucked when a player wantd it.

+Glenn Erickson That's part of the point...? The game is about managing random colors using your control over what size piece you're pulling.

I hadn't thought of it that way, but that puts it in perspective. Thanks!

+Glenn Erickson - Yes, you can always choose which size you draw, or choose to draw a cube, but you don't know what color you are going to get...

Could you put rules for this up somewhere soon? Or just explain here how batteries and reactors should work, in closer detail?

+Benjamin Weinstock - a PDF of the whole 76 page rulebook was just posted (to backers only) on Kickstarter Update #7 - including the full rules to Powerhouse! www.kickstarter.com/projects/looneylabs/pyramid-arcade/posts/1562590
