- In this video, I give a quick overview on one of the best best racks for a Toyota Tacoma. I recently sold my Tepui roof top tent, but I will be getting an Ikamper roof top tent installed in the next few weeks. An in depth video of the ARS bed rack will be released in the next few weeks and the roof top tent will be installed on the Tacoma at that time.
The rack is built by a company called Altitude Rack Systems and they are based in Northern California.
My Instagram for photos of rack with roof top tent on 07 tacoma:

I've owned countless Tacomas and have used different bed rack set up like the Relentless Fab, but the fixed rack made it so I couldn't maximize the space in the bed. This rack system is extremely versatile and has been a game changer.

Why can't I find this company online?????
Great video buddy. Have you got the ikamper?
Dunetech hey man! Thanks for checking out the video! I don’t have the Ikamper but I met their team at an outdoor trade show and love them! They’re doing some big things and I think they might be some of my favorite roof top tents so far. What are your thoughts on them?
Did they went out of business or something?
Would it be a hassle to take off if you need to haul something big?
Cody M it’s actually super easy, 4 bolts on each side and it pops right off! I’m selling mine right now though, I decided to go a different direction with my build
what is the max loading weight and can the rack system be raised with its max load?
Jennifer Napihaa Hi Jennifer! I believe it’s 500 pounds. And 250 or 300 dynamic. If you have a rooftop tent on there, you can move it up and down freely. If you have close to 500 on it I probably wouldn’t try and move it a whole lot, but I’m sure it’d do it more problem, I’d be more worried about the pressure against the bed
@@kevinshinohara so im thinking 2 person tent just to keep the max load under 500 when lifted?
Jennifer Napihaa what tent company are you thinking of going with and which model?
