I have a 2000 4Runner with OME/Bilstien 5100 2" lift. 285/70/17" tires and SPC adjustable upper control arms. Had a vibration at 60-65mph until I installed a front differential drop kit, (about $40 from JEGS). It gets the front axel angle back close to stock. Solved the problem and simple to install. I strongly recommend getting adjustable upper control arms so it can be aligned back as close to factory specs as possible. I got SPC brand and the alignment shop said they allowed a much better alignment than stock for a lifted suspension. I also replaced the lower ball joints since they were originals.
I did a lift on my 2007 runner with old man emu also.. I’m very happy with it also. I was getting so much flak on Facebook groups that I should only get the one the have or they approved of without ever even seeing one. But also was getting a little shake in the wheel you could barley see of feel it. I wound up replacing my lower control arms with new ball joints.. my lower bolts were seized and they could not adjust it right until now it’s smooth. A lot of places just do a toe and go alignment and never set the camber or caster. Do your tires sqeel In a tight turn in a parking lot. That’s a sign
@@offbalancewrld What are you filming with? I am looking at a Sony A6000 something a little on the lower end but enough to start out. Any recommendations?
I use a sony a6500 right now, I like it a lot. my buddy used to shoot with a cannon m50 I believe and I think he got some good quality out of that one too The only other camera I like for vlog style is the go pro 8 black, which i may pick up soon Other than that I sometimes use my iphone x for quick videos
@@offbalancewrld I will have to look into the 6500, it is pretty wild how nice iPhone videos and the camera is in general. I will forever keep our GoPro hero. Thanks man!
Hell Yeah Dude! Glad i stumbled on to your channel. Drift builds and off road builds, my cup of tea! Been trying to do the same stuff on my channel, Keep it up Bro! 🔥
Okay I got a couple of questions what lift how much lift and what size tires because that right there is just smooth sailing off-road You're driving on rock not down in the video man The rig looks freaking good really slick I like it I just really want to know what size lift and what size tires
Hey! That bumper is sick and I'm a big fan of the build! Prob going with the same set up and wondered if it's bolt on for 4th gen? Lastly, I just lifted to barely clear 33's. With stock upper controls and reuse of old suspension, I seem to also get shake between 50-70 mph. Is this due to the extreme forward alignment and wondered if you were able to resolve your issue? Thanks my man!
Thanks man, and yeah the bumper is direct bolt on. You remove everything that hold the oem bumper and it slides onto where the old bumper support bolts up to. And I still have a little shake myself, it clears up around 50mph for me though. I’m going to have my alignment guy play with some of the numbers and see if he can resolve it soon
@@christopherthreadgill6195 yeah I love it, it’s my favorite of all the ones I’ve seen, and it’s very durable. I’ve dragged it on fences, trees and it’s never bend or dented
@@christopherthreadgill6195 yeah I love this thing, it’s a good 115 pounds. And yeah the install was super easy. You take off everything that holds the oem front bumper on, and you take off your bumper support beam, then this unit bolts to where the bumper support beam goes
@@lanachegarnov2898 fit perfect, but you have to remove everything under the oem bumper. I believe they mean stock body with suspension lift, fitment would be different with a body lift

off road? it's a gravel road that regular people probably take to work in their honda civic
Take yours there and try, vlog it
The shaking in my 2005 4runner was the wheels bearings
This thing is a beast! 4Runner with the v8 are the best setups
Man looking good u will see they are quite capable
I just finished the shelf system in the back of mine I posted a video of it
Beautiful runner.. I have an 05 limited with the v6 , ome 3 inch lift and bilstien 5100 all around ‼️
Thank you! And very nice!
Radical video man. Chill vibes
Thank you!

Nope. Still oem and in the oem location
