The spitfire pilots at the beginning sucked so bad. All they had to do was comming from above and kill him. Just like in warthunder with the good old zoom and boom. I watched this video a couple of times and it's amazing how dumb they are but also the bomber pilot is really good. It's good and sad at the same time knowing that this is going to be nerfed within 2 weeks.
Dog fighting isn’t fun in BF anymore, remember the days of bf3 and bf4 where it required skill with controlling speed and in hardcore mode you had to land to repair, I think that was fun
in bfv dogfighting is just so unbalanced just if a fighter gets behind you, you can’t just do something like you did in bf4 to get him out of your tail indeed you’re not able to see ur speed for maintaining ur speed to do best possible turn! dice really needs to improve dogfighting gameplay in bfv
Nope nope nope nope even in bf3 the skill ceiling for flying planes was very fucking low and only required you to exploit that 300 speed maxed-out turn rate with the F-18. There is no skill (or realism, for that matter) involved when flying planes in Battlefield games. If that's what you're looking for, then play other games like IL-2 or to a good extent War Thunder
They really nerfed this plane since he made the video but it’s still the best bomber in the game, just can’t carry all those bombs at the same time. I fly it with 16x small bombs and 4 medium bombs

I’m surprised DICE haven’t learned their lesson from the heavy bomber. aka guaranteed 10 feed every time you dropped your payload. What baffles me even more is people who don’t fly because their trash and complain about planes with a burning passion are the ones that defend the heavy bomber and Ju88 because it’s finally something they can abuse.
@@lejenddairy my main problem with aircraft, I never get the chance to spawn in one, and when I do, I have enough time to get my bearings then immediately get shot down by some tryhard in a fighter. Never get the chance to even get a feel for flying, then get absolutely raped by Max level pilots.
@@lejenddairy I don't defend them any more than I defended the immortal cavalry in bf1. I quit out of a lot of games because my team ignores the bombers and horses and I get spawn killed 8 times in a row.
I think the most disgusting thing about this is the turning radius. I dont mind the high speed compared to a dedicated bomber, but severely limiting its manuverability would greatly balance this plane.
NRL will probably get nerfed into the ground. Remember the cluster bomber in BF1? Didn’t do anywhere near this damage, was the slowest most un-manoeuvrable plane in the game by far and the easiest shot down, but people had a cry that it could get a couple kills in a run and they nerfed into non existence. I like dice and the games they make, but they need things too much just to appease infrantry players.
CanadianBluePants imo the only tweaks I’d make is buffing the stationary AA guns, and tweak the manoeuvrability to make it a slightly slower turner. Mobile AA imo should do less damage than stationary for the fact it’s mobile.

Richie Yang I get that there’s a lot, but if infantry players had there way there either would be no vehicles or everything taken out with a single RPG. It’s pretty dumb the way they dictate everything, it’s a war sandbox that’s designed around Vehicles. I hate the fact everything has to be nerfed so that infantry can do nothing but hunt infantry they don’t even try to take out vehicles half the time. I’d rather vehicles be buffed and make infantry have to try take them out,

Honestly, this pisses me off more than the strength of the aircrafts. People dont fear AA in this game. Theres no risk to just strafing run an enemy AA. Its not only in the name, whats the point of spending one of your teams vehicle spawns to bug the enemy planes, instead of killing them?

Nerf the turning radius and remove the bombing crosshair and add some sort of bombing sight, similar to war thunder. The sight would also force you to bomb at level flight if you want to be accurate. This would also raise the skill cap
lmfao no, the flying was ten times more ridiculous in BF1, I'm an avid flier in both, BF5 is way more realistic, other than the bombing sights. And landing to resupply would take TOO long, unless they upped the ammo capacity 5x. Longer reload is fine, i like that idea, I have always thought that I could strafe too often even while having to fly to the resupply, I should be forced to make big arcs around the whole map to allow for reload time and lining up a strafe.
I think part of the problem is the AA is too weak. You can basically just ignore it and then repair after each run. In BF1 you had to sneak up on them or wait until they were distracted if you wanted to take out a decent AA gunner. I don't think AA should necessarily be as strong as it was in BF1 but it seems pretty useless in BFV right now.
I think they should make the plane less maneuvarable, so they reduce the rate of bombing runs. And I think they should not make the AA too powerfull, because it kills the fun of using planes. If the bomber is less maneuvarable it will be easy for the Spitfires to take him down. Spitfire = King of the Sky.
@@niki123489 Nah the AA should be as powerful as it was in BF1, to give the pilot an extra awareness, or bombers will fuck up everything like he did, it's kinda nice to have the AA as an extra challenge, they can be annoying but you can easily destroy/avoid them, in BF1 i've killed so many AA gunners with Fighter's MG that i don't even need to use the ground attack package anymore.
No, the AA isn't too weak, it's just weak against bombers. AA isn't the hard counter to Bombers, Fighter planes are. The problem is that unlike in BF1 you can insta-switch to the rear gun with no animation time, so there's only 2 fighter variants currently that can reliably kill bombers before they can rear gun you to death.
ron1n i only partly agree. I think bombers are very weak to fighters. Videos like this one make it seem like it is easy to fly the bomber, just because I got lucky in this match and the enemies basically ignored him. In most matches it’s hard to even get to bomb a single target without beeing shot down by fighters in seconds. I am playing since release and in all my matches in only had one in which I could actually bomb something. In all others you spawned In the bomber and immediately had 1-2 fighters behind you. It’s usually game over then if the fighters isn’t drunk and doesn’t hit
ron1n “AA isn’t the hard counter to bombers” - I mean the clue is in the name. It’s called ANTI - AIRCRAFT. Of course it should be a hard counter to bombers. At the very least bomber pilots should be scared of it. At the moment, it’s just a minor nuisance. Now that you can repair while turning it doesn’t particularly delay your bombing runs, especially when you have to grab ammo anyway. And on the point about the seat changing times: a) Even with the fast seat changes the bombers are far less scary for fighters than in BF1 because the time to kill is so much faster. The 109 and the Spitfire can absolutely melt the bombers with the right guns attached. b) What if you have a rear gunner anyway? Then the switching time doesn’t make any difference. The problem isn’t that the fighters can’t kill the bombers. They definitely can. The problem is that if your fighters aren’t any good the enemy bomber just has free reign to nuke your infantry who are impotent to respond themselves. I’m not saying being in an AA should be an auto win against bombers. But if, as an AA gunner, you catch the bombers by surprise, hit all your shots and they don’t react fast enough, you should be able to win the engagement. Equally if, as a bomber pilot, you catch the AA by surprise or whilst they distracted and you land your bombs on target, you should be able to win the engagement. But I don’t think that is the case at the moment. You can be in the middle of doing something else, plough right through the flak and kill the AA. Also, just to clear; I’m not some butt hurt infantry player who hates planes. I love flying in battlefield. But it should be a challenge to deal with the AA; one you can overcome with skill and strategy but still a challenge.
I think they shouldn't nerf the plane, well maybe the turning radius but they should add airfields. Where you have to actually land to refill. Mid air supply is kinda stupid. I've done a bomber run myself and it was fun but... I can understand the enemy situation.
That's how it was in the older battlefields. Seems like the easiest fix, or just make it to where you can't get your resupply on both sides of the map, should be on your team's side only.
Ahhh... have you played any other battlefield game??? Those you didn't have to RESUPPLY you just flew around and your ammo would reappear! (No matter where you were on the map!) I agree, but the AA in BF4 has a totally different fire rate. I think a good balance would be to limit the maneuverability of the bomber, slightly increase the damage of the AA but at the same time limit the turn speed of the AA. As in BF4 you could do a 720 rotation in like 0.3 seconds with the AA.
Looks fun but this has go to be the most unrealistic bombing ever. Handles like a biplane. Holds speed and climbs like a jet. Reloads bombs like it’s throwing popcorn in the microwave oven. Bombing while turning without ripping off your wings. And repairs like someone is gonna walk out on the wings and use some spare metal. I am fine with the repairs cuz that was a thing in battlefield one but WW2 bombers are some of the most stubborn things to operate. Main concern is the bombs didn’t destroy the plane they clearly went through. Yeah it’s a game, I know, but why so arcade-like?

@@LittleMacscorner Either way the game is bad. Whether the historical accuracy comes from the characters used or the mechanics in the game, its historical accuracy nonetheless. Ubisoft is probably trying to appeal to more audiences by doing so by making the game easier and having more inclusion. Also, I know tons of people that were turned off of purchasing it just for what I said.

I wouldn't go as far as calling something like this overpowered. It's so easy to counter. In games like Arma 3 you get long range arty controlled by Humans, so you get deadly precision 150mm on your head while you can do absolutely shit about it before your friendly neighbourhood CAS finds it and takes it out.
so i watched this before i had bf5, and i got it like a month ago, and i can tell you that this wouldn't be possible with the current state of the game Fliegerfaust and AA doing 12-14 damage per hit will wreck you in one run
This is amazing, so good. Does anyone else find it odd that in so many online videos of people getting crazy kill streaks, they are often low level/rank? Even though they've been playing the game for ages, they aren't top rank, and then are matched with low level players who are understandably useless. Not taking away from how awesome this is, just an observation.

KD Ratio of 22.14 is amazing! Most of those deaths were after the enemy team started focusing their attention on you and actually getting decent pilots to fly against you. They spent the first half dying to you and the second half basically focused on taking you down. A distracted enemy is a dead enemy.
Niccaman is definetely an extraordinary pilot but - generally speaking- it can't be that the aircraft players who are mostly just focusing on getting kills and not actively helping capturing the objectives are able to gain by far the highest amount of points in the game. Dice needs to fix this immediately cause BF1 was already a plane orgy and as an infantryman I am not willing to suffer a second time. We as ground forces need additional firepower in order to be able to defy the pilots. Dice it's time to MAKE BATTLFIELD GREAT AGAIN !!!
Honestly, they should make the planes having to land for the resupply and repairs. The AA's should be buffed against planes and nerfed against infantry. And the icons above soldiers heads should be removed. :)

So my buddies and I are getting the game after much debate, the game looks fun and from what ive seen from the reviews it is good. My only problem is that the way ea and dice handled the marketing and overall image of the game and what Im hoping is they did learn from their mistake because if they didnt we will all be taking an L.

You can shred a bomber in a few seconds. On twisted steel you can have 3 planes up at a time + the AA. Plenty of tools to easily take out a bomber
This is a problem in all battlefield games. A good pilot can completely lock down a game, its not new. I dont think planes should be able to influence the ground as much. They are bombing blindly, which means they should miss more. If a squad leader identifies a target, then the bomber should destroy it with accuracy. They should be used as artillary, in conjuction with the infantry.
Any game in which a player can rack up 100 kills to 0, ceases to be enjoyable. And exactly the reason that I have up on Battlefield to begin with. It's simply stupid.

People aren't mad at women in a ww2 game, they are mad about how they were implemented. At best only 5% of the people who fought in ww2 were women throughout all participating countries. Had they not spent 80% of the reveal trailer on a woman in the British army. They should have shown the women who were Russian snipers or show a female resistance fighter like cod did. The thing that got older players angry was the fact that bf5 became political with the devs even admitting to showing equality in a time where there wasn't equality. It's false representation and any self respecting history buff will recognize this as a blatant disregard of ww2. Again, had the devs implemented women properly without becoming political, the fans wouldn't care, but the devs decided to take a political standpoint which led to disrespecting ww2. That is why people are angry at bf5 and why the sales of the game were underwhelming.

Now there are a couple rounds the bomber will be top kill maps but there are others they have to get over mid-map 1st! Just played a round earlier where i went AA tank and os did another player and nothing made it past the bridge! OH and they tried to go low but we knew the spots! I don't know if the bombers even had a positive K/D!

Honestly, this pisses me off more than the strength of the aircrafts. People dont fear AA in this game. Theres no risk to just strafing run an enemy AA. Its not only in the name, whats the point of spending one of your teams vehicle spawns to bug the enemy planes, instead of killing them?

Nerf the turning radius and remove the bombing crosshair and add some sort of bombing sight, similar to war thunder. The sight would also force you to bomb at level flight if you want to be accurate. This would also raise the skill cap

lmfao no, the flying was ten times more ridiculous in BF1, I'm an avid flier in both, BF5 is way more realistic, other than the bombing sights. And landing to resupply would take TOO long, unless they upped the ammo capacity 5x. Longer reload is fine, i like that idea, I have always thought that I could strafe too often even while having to fly to the resupply, I should be forced to make big arcs around the whole map to allow for reload time and lining up a strafe.

I think part of the problem is the AA is too weak. You can basically just ignore it and then repair after each run. In BF1 you had to sneak up on them or wait until they were distracted if you wanted to take out a decent AA gunner. I don't think AA should necessarily be as strong as it was in BF1 but it seems pretty useless in BFV right now.
I think they should make the plane less maneuvarable, so they reduce the rate of bombing runs. And I think they should not make the AA too powerfull, because it kills the fun of using planes. If the bomber is less maneuvarable it will be easy for the Spitfires to take him down. Spitfire = King of the Sky.
@@niki123489 Nah the AA should be as powerful as it was in BF1, to give the pilot an extra awareness, or bombers will fuck up everything like he did, it's kinda nice to have the AA as an extra challenge, they can be annoying but you can easily destroy/avoid them, in BF1 i've killed so many AA gunners with Fighter's MG that i don't even need to use the ground attack package anymore.
No, the AA isn't too weak, it's just weak against bombers. AA isn't the hard counter to Bombers, Fighter planes are. The problem is that unlike in BF1 you can insta-switch to the rear gun with no animation time, so there's only 2 fighter variants currently that can reliably kill bombers before they can rear gun you to death.
ron1n i only partly agree. I think bombers are very weak to fighters. Videos like this one make it seem like it is easy to fly the bomber, just because I got lucky in this match and the enemies basically ignored him. In most matches it’s hard to even get to bomb a single target without beeing shot down by fighters in seconds. I am playing since release and in all my matches in only had one in which I could actually bomb something. In all others you spawned In the bomber and immediately had 1-2 fighters behind you. It’s usually game over then if the fighters isn’t drunk and doesn’t hit
ron1n “AA isn’t the hard counter to bombers” - I mean the clue is in the name. It’s called ANTI - AIRCRAFT. Of course it should be a hard counter to bombers. At the very least bomber pilots should be scared of it. At the moment, it’s just a minor nuisance. Now that you can repair while turning it doesn’t particularly delay your bombing runs, especially when you have to grab ammo anyway. And on the point about the seat changing times: a) Even with the fast seat changes the bombers are far less scary for fighters than in BF1 because the time to kill is so much faster. The 109 and the Spitfire can absolutely melt the bombers with the right guns attached. b) What if you have a rear gunner anyway? Then the switching time doesn’t make any difference. The problem isn’t that the fighters can’t kill the bombers. They definitely can. The problem is that if your fighters aren’t any good the enemy bomber just has free reign to nuke your infantry who are impotent to respond themselves. I’m not saying being in an AA should be an auto win against bombers. But if, as an AA gunner, you catch the bombers by surprise, hit all your shots and they don’t react fast enough, you should be able to win the engagement. Equally if, as a bomber pilot, you catch the AA by surprise or whilst they distracted and you land your bombs on target, you should be able to win the engagement. But I don’t think that is the case at the moment. You can be in the middle of doing something else, plough right through the flak and kill the AA. Also, just to clear; I’m not some butt hurt infantry player who hates planes. I love flying in battlefield. But it should be a challenge to deal with the AA; one you can overcome with skill and strategy but still a challenge.

You do realize the mosquito can kill a JU88 in litterally 2 seconds of firing at it... the 4x 20mm are made to counter it...
I think they shouldn't nerf the plane, well maybe the turning radius but they should add airfields. Where you have to actually land to refill. Mid air supply is kinda stupid. I've done a bomber run myself and it was fun but... I can understand the enemy situation.
That's how it was in the older battlefields. Seems like the easiest fix, or just make it to where you can't get your resupply on both sides of the map, should be on your team's side only.

Ops Admin1 the issue is the same with bf4. If aa becomes strong then whichever team owns aa, owns the sky, and then it’s really hard to come back.
I agree, but the AA in BF4 has a totally different fire rate. I think a good balance would be to limit the maneuverability of the bomber, slightly increase the damage of the AA but at the same time limit the turn speed of the AA. As in BF4 you could do a 720 rotation in like 0.3 seconds with the AA.

Looks fun but this has go to be the most unrealistic bombing ever. Handles like a biplane. Holds speed and climbs like a jet. Reloads bombs like it’s throwing popcorn in the microwave oven. Bombing while turning without ripping off your wings. And repairs like someone is gonna walk out on the wings and use some spare metal.
I am fine with the repairs cuz that was a thing in battlefield one but WW2 bombers are some of the most stubborn things to operate.
Main concern is the bombs didn’t destroy the plane they clearly went through.

Ubisoft is probably trying to appeal to more audiences by doing so by making the game easier and having more inclusion. I wouldn't go as far as calling something like this overpowered. It's so easy to counter. In games like Arma 3 you get long range arty controlled by Humans, so you get deadly precision 150mm on your head while you can do absolutely shit about it before your friendly neighbourhood CAS finds it and takes it out.

This is amazing, so good. Does anyone else find it odd that in so many online videos of people getting crazy kill streaks, they are often low level/rank? Even though they've been playing the game for ages, they aren't top rank, and then are matched with low level players who are understandably useless. KD Ratio of 22.14 is amazing! Most of those deaths were after the enemy team started focusing their attention on you and actually getting decent pilots to fly against you. They spent the first half dying to you and the second half basically focused on taking you down. A distracted enemy is a dead enemy.
Just make it like in warthunder, where you have to fly back for like 5 to 15 minutes, land, and fly to the front lines again...

Niccaman is definetely an extraordinary pilot but - generally speaking- it can't be that the aircraft players who are mostly just focusing on getting kills and not actively helping capturing the objectives are able to gain by far the highest amount of points in the game. Dice needs to fix this immediately cause BF1 was already a plane orgy and as an infantryman I am not willing to suffer a second time. We as ground forces need additional firepower in order to be able to defy the pilots. Dice it's time to MAKE BATTLFIELD GREAT AGAIN !!!

Honestly, they should make the planes having to land for the resupply and repairs. The AA's should be buffed against planes and nerfed against infantry. And the icons above soldiers heads should be removed. :)

So my buddies and I are getting the game after much debate, the game looks fun and from what ive seen from the reviews it is good. My only problem is that the way ea and dice handled the marketing and overall image of the game and what Im hoping is they did learn from their mistake because if they didnt we will all be taking an L.

You can shred a bomber in a few seconds. On twisted steel you can have 3 planes up at a time + the AA. Plenty of tools to easily take out a bomber

This is a problem in all battlefield games. A good pilot can completely lock down a game, its not new. I dont think planes should be able to influence the ground as much. They are bombing blindly, which means they should miss more. If a squad leader identifies a target, then the bomber should destroy it with accuracy. They should be used as artillary, in conjuction with the infantry.
Any game in which a player can rack up 100 kills to 0, ceases to be enjoyable.
And exactly the reason that I have up on Battlefield to begin with.
It's simply stupid.

I just _lOvE_ it when people tell everyone multiple times that they won't buy the game because of historical inaccuracies (like that determines the entire game) and then start arguments where they screech about women.
Lol true I hate it when they start arguing ona video even though the games been out for like a year, like bruh why are you hating about a game on a video ABOUT the game like why are you even watching the game if you “HATE” it so much. People aren't mad at women in a ww2 game, they are mad about how they were implemented. At best only 5% of the people who fought in ww2 were women throughout all participating countries. Had they not spent 80% of the reveal trailer on a woman in the British army. They should have shown the women who were Russian snipers or show a female resistance fighter like cod did. The thing that got older players angry was the fact that bf5 became political with the devs even admitting to showing equality in a time where there wasn't equality. It's false representation and any self respecting history buff will recognize this as a blatant disregard of ww2. Again, had the devs implemented women properly without becoming political, the fans wouldn't care, but the devs decided to take a political standpoint which led to disrespecting ww2. That is why people are angry at bf5 and why the sales of the game were underwhelming.
@@Spoiled_Eggroll Totally agree...make them spies or something, at least. Moreover, I think hearing women scream in agony is going to desensitize a lot of young males even more than they already are nowadays. My buddy and I hate it.
