So many alcohol ink tutorials can be summed up in the phrase “just play with it!” The tutors rarely share why they make the artistic choices they make as they progress, and I am as uninformed after the tutorial as I was before. In two short videos you have given me two specific techniques to use, as in this flower and the marble technique. Having these techniques allows beginners to have some success as they learn. This is not an inexpensive craft, and as in any craft, having some payoff at the end is key. Thank You So Very Much!
Michelle, Please tell me the brand name of your compressor ? I would like to order it from Amazon. I am so inspired from your techniques creating beautiful 🌸 flowers!! Thank you so much!
Subscribed (come to you via Vanessa) and now I'm off to find your Facebook page too. I hope that you 'gutted' that gold card before using it as a matt for the stunning sunflower. That satisfying 'crunch' when using a guillotine to trim cardstock!

Wow, really like the sunflower development. I see a pretty poinsettia painted this way also. Thanks so much for sharing. Stay safe, keep on painting.
That gold card stock you use behind your art is fantastic. I absolutely love it.
Sorry - that was an accident - I enjoyed your tutorial - I’m always inspired to pull out my own alcohol inks after watching good tutorials

Love this flower. Looks beautiful.
This just beautiful. I love sunflowers.
What air compressor are you using? It’s not as loud as some.
You really need to do more videos on alcohol inks.... you are so gifted! Thank you for this! 🙋♀️💕
Thank you Terri!
Beautiful, Michelle.
Awesome!!! I really want to try this!
What is the air spray you use
What brand is the air compressor?
Can the bulb blower thing, that Tim Holtz sells, work the same way, as the air compressor? Or perhaps a straw?
You can certainly use the tTim Holtz bulb to blow the petals. I don’t recommend as straw however I do see some use it.
What do you use to cut the plastic?
Just my regular guillotine cutter. No different than cardstock.
That's a loud heat tool.
