People were always asking how to dodge this, how to predict that.... so I decided to make a quick guide on how to GS a Rajang.
I couldn't go over all the moves and playstyle since it'll take way too long to make that kind of video (or maybe I'm just lazy)

just got done hunting 140 Jang with others after looking at this and I was able to land more attacks on it with the longsword with grace and ease while keeping my damage taken extremely low. definitely gonna recommend this guide to others who struggle against Jang. keep up the awesome work in your hunts

When jangs in apex mode sometimes he keeps doing Kelbi hops 3-4 times in a row (turns around kelbi hop turn around kelbi hop again like seriously dude do something else like a Blanka ball or something) which waste all my Wystone time I just don't get why he keeps doing this to me and sometimes he randomly side steps not doing anything which makes me having hard time knowing what move he's gonna make. I always experiencing these thing when I solo a rajang just saying
If you can get a decent (I have a +5) fastcharge talisman, you can get the key skills from a standard Diablos X armour set. It might be a little easier than going for the pieces Origami is using in this video.

+Marquis Delaine How do you know they cry and make excuses? Is that American for complaining? The only thing you can do is to remember those hints and practise yourself, since even if you try to follow these steps you can fuck up.
+Red Phoenix chill out. I made my comment for a reason. loads of people complain about Rajang saying he hits too hard, he moved too much blah blah blah but don't even take the time to learn his patterns

I have only one Question. Why did Attack Jewel have a +5 Version, but Tremor Resistence, a way less allrounderish Ability only +1 and +2? So stupid, I dont wanna Create an entire new Armor, ore loose all my Skills for this one Ability.
Attack jewel 3 (+5 attack) requires a 3 slotted armor piece while tremor res jewel (+2 tremor res) only requires 1 slot. So tremor res gives more points per slot compare to attack jewel 3. I recommend making mix armor set to get all your necessary skills using a free program called Athena's Armor Set Search. (AASS)

It was a relic armor with +5 on prudence (just wore it for aesthetic)
Saw you sometime hit the rajang with a stone, and stop it.... Always wonder why?
+Aquila During the animation of Island toss attack, Rajang' HP (or Apex threshold) will not drop to 0 no matter how many times you attack it. Instead it will drop to 1. So next attack will probably kill or de apex him.
There are certain "Actions" that monsters can do that no matter what, will leave them with 1HP. Rajang's Double arm earth toss is one such action. Its kinda luck based however since you never know how much HP a monster has left at all
+Bored Hunter In fact if you ONLY attack rajang while it's doing the large rock throw, he'll be guaranteed to be at 1HP after a certain amount of hits.
