Actually it's the hornets fault.
Yeah, If He Didn’t Take Revenge to Ladybug, He’ll Survive. But He Didn’t Make It.
@@C-Crystal2002 Godzilla had a stroke reading this 🤦
I'm pretty sure The Hornet was within the Wolf's hit-list (his envelope that Ladybug looted had Hornet's pictures inside), but the thing is - the Wolf only knew that Ladybug and Hornet were at the wedding, neither he or the informant really knew which one was behind the mass-poisoning, so in a fit of grief and rage, the Wolf decided to kill both of them.
What I want to know is what was Ladybug doing at the Wolf's wedding?
Ladybug specifies that he only does snatch-and-grab jobs. He is a thief, not a hitman.
Chances are he was snatching a fortune or something and that wedding was the best way to get it
Interestingly, in the original novel adaptation, Ladybug is an accomplished hitman - but he kept running into unexpected complications and difficulties when his jobs were supposed to be simple, making him questioning his luck. In this movie, I believe this Ladybug was also a hitman (Operatives take all sorts of jobs), but like in the novel - he's also lamenting his luck since he kept running into either dead or gravely injured people even when he's not supposed to kill anyone.
I think he *was* a hitman but has been trying to stick to snatch-and-grabs since starting therapy. He is very good at fighting, has few qualms about killing, and he said "I'm not even trying to kill anyone and people die" like he has tried to kill people before.
Moral of the story: Don't be an evil bastard. Else Karma-fala will catch up.
At first you feel bad for the Wolf - until you remember all the lives he's taken. His victims' families also suffered from losing their loved ones.
Losing his gang, his mentor, his wife - and the unsatisfactory death at the end - was the "Fala" of his Karma, i.e., the fruits of his labors.
I love how funny and yet deep and meaningful this movie is when you think about it.
Sooner or later the sins you commit in life catch up with you one way or another.
