I am so proud of psu. I loved the 94 season. Its good to look back snd see joepa so vibrant on the sidelines. Hands down bar none he is the greatest college voach ever. He also happened to an outstanding himan being..he lived a life of honor and integrity and i wish people would not have bought into the media garbage about him.
Barbara Lindemuth: He had his flaws like everyone else and It may have played a role in what happened in the Sandusky situation, but I don't buy that he flat out knew what he was doing and chose to ignore it. And of course the real villain is Sandusky. He may have been the best coach though I think he held on a little too long. He had the right to claim 6 NC's. As I'm sure you know they had 4 other undefeated seasons including the one in the video. If they'd had the chance to play for it he might have won 6 and be right there with Saban.
And Nebraska thinks they could have beaten this team? Horse manure! This offense was a relentless machine. You saw how Michigan State kept pace at one point in the game, and then Penn State just blew their doors off. Ki-Jana Carter, Brian Milne, Freddie Scott. Bobby Engram, Kyle Brady. I have never seen an offense like this before or since. They were just unbelievable.
I loved watching Penn State's '94 season, but the thing that stands out to me the most as I watch these film clips is the vision of Carter and the other Lions backs running through traffic. It's almost a lost art, but the evolution of offensive schemes and defensive adjustments have shifted towards gaining yards in space. So seeing these guys work their magic gives me appreciation for where the game was, where it is, and possibly where it might go in the future.
Yeah it would have been awesome. Completely different style, uniforms. I'd pull for Penn State but in my heart of hearts I'd think Nebraska would have won. But you never know as they say
Nebraska did not have a better defense than us, our Nittany Lions defense was on the field all day in a good way!!! Our offense averaged 1:57 seconds scoring through the whole damn season!!!@
There is no way in hell Nebraska could have stopped this amazing offense!!! It was the most balanced and complete offense in the history of college football!!! I would argue that with anyone!!!!
Epic Sparty fail? I'm a Penn State alum and I went to that game as well as every single home game. Michigan State put up a good fight that game, it's just that our guys were quite a bit more talented. That's not a reason to disrespect them with a comment like that, it's our sister school. I can tell you it was really something to see in real life, television captures like 1/4 of what it's all about. The noise was deafening, I lost my voice and I wore some Pepsi that game. And a big smile!
Best college football team to not win the national championship? Probably. This was probably the best team Paterno ever had at PSU. It was certainly the best undefeated team he had.
+Joe Stumpf I was there in the crowd and I'm still baffled how after crushing great opponents we never got the National championship. Fucking ass backwards politics always win over the good teams lol.
Im a big penn state fan and im so sad because jopa died if the people new he told a cop for the scandle he would be alve thats why pennstate isnt doing good

Great video!! My senior year at PSU... Great memories, should have been national champs that year. Way better than Nebraska

I would kill to see another PSU football season like this one. Undefeated and within reach of the national title.
Nice moment with Jurevicius shaking Perles's hand at the end.
O line were beasts
Kijana carter was the greatest north-south runner in Penn state's modern history.
Geez i made some bad typos!!
0:50 NICE CATCH!
Penn State 59, Michigan State players not named Derrick Mason 17, Derrick Mason 14
