Nov. 1, 1950: John Dill and Leslie Coffelt’s intersection at ANC

Sir John Dill was interred at Arlington National Cemetery in 1944. Six years later, an equestrian statue was placed at his grave and dedicated on the same day an assassination attempt was made on President Truman.
