EDIT: WE WON BESTIES I hate the EBU for this, for supposedly thinking they will create more drama with this, they have instead created a more uncomfortable atmosphere. I feel bad for people who don't qualify, having to stand there in front of the cameras and everyone, because at least in the green room, they can sit with their delegation and be off camera. I also feel bad for the solo artists who cant immediately celebrate with their team and just have to awkwardly walk off. I don't think I'll be watching the results this year, I'll just wait to see when they get published online. Don't fix what isn't broken

Happy to know that they have changed their mind however... It's worrying to think that someone in the organisation thought this was a good idea and they went ahead with it. It clearly shows they know nothing about the festival, they don't respect or love Eurovision. I'm already nervous about the other changes they are planning.
I'm a little bit sad with this format that the artist can't have the support of theirs delegations, whether they're qualified or not. However, I'm happy to see that they try to add something new to the contest. Obviously, some things will be good, and some things will be bad, but you have to take risk, try, and innovate to make the contest different and better every year.
Ofcourse it's good that they try something new but i also think if it ain't broke don't fix it. The way of announcing the qualifiers was perfect and now its so bland and it doesn't feel special anymore

I don't like this x-factor format! Eurovision is a privileged competition, where the performers find out the results while drinking champagne in their personal lodges, supported by the entire delegation, but not gathered on stage like puppies... If they wanted drama, they could invite the last two finalists on the stage like this.
Thank goodness the delegations and the fans stepped in - this is not American Idol... this is EUROVISION and this is so embarrassing and demeaning for the participants.

The EBU is a degrading mafia, I think all countries should boycott the show, artias are for the show and not to be humiliated, the EBU should have a final show with all countries I don't agree with the elimination, it's even shameful many countries give everything and stay out of the final, down with the corrupt EBU.
