Thanks Rachel, I completed my folio. I hope you don’t mind, I just adapted it slightly to suit my own uses, but using your basic idea. Have uploaded a video of my finished folio, and linked your video/channel. Thank you again for the brilliant idea x
Hi Roxy really enjoyed your videos on making an ephemera folder, I followed your instructions and am pleased with the result. Great idea and so nice to have all your bits together and in order ready to use. Keep making the videos they are such a joy to watch and always so imformative. X
I just LOVE your ephemera folios!!! What a great way to corral all those small ephemera pieces!!! As soon as I am done with the journal I am making, these are next.
OH MY Gosh!!! Thx u for this idea! I sat down last night and started organizing my clip art/empherma. Then i remembered your video and started making these little portfolio folders and i had so much fun making them! I haven’t decorated ( stitched) yet. I wanted to get everything organized first and then I’ll have fun! Cheers!
Good afternoon! I've made some folios and am posting a video on 5/29. I've linked to this video as well as Gayle's & Sarah's (SoulCreative) in my descrition box. Creative Blessings!
OMGOSH, what an amazing way to store stuff. Now that I have a Scan and Cut I am accumulating a lot of cut-outs & didn't have a clue how to store them plus have them easy to view. Now I know exactly what to do. I have a load of the Amazon book packaging cardboard so I can make these to my hearts content thanks to you sweetie. Toodles
This is so brilliant. Thank you for sharing, and I hope it's ok to give it a try to make one for personal use. I have all my ephemera all sorted in little box containers and something like this takes less room. You have so much talent.
Rachel, Thank You for sharing all your hard work! I am working on these now. Wow! So time consuming, but so Satisfying at the same time. I'm waiting on my #stampedlabels to arrive any day now! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I found a large set from Tim Holtz.
Hi New subscriber. Really like the ephemera folder. brilliant idea Just wondering how many pages you put in and did you sew it in with a 3 hole pamphlet stitch? Thank you
Omg! Looks awesome Rachel I like the idea of the collage cover. I just downloaded some of your digits, I should say my granddaughter did, love them. Thank u so much😍these are really pretty. Rachel do you get all of your labels on 1 or two sheets, I have 8 on a sheet I will have try and shrink them.
What did you do to attach the plastic pockets? Did you glue them on, if so what glue did you use and do they stay put? If not glued, then did you sew them on the pages? It looks like you sew them on but not sure. Thanks.
Thank you for replying! For the ones that you sewed, are you afraid that the holes pierced by the needle will eventually wear out the plastic? Regarding the ones you glued, do they hold up the wear and tear of constantly putting things in them? I ask because I am trying to determine which is better for the future when I'll make such a folio since it is so labor intensive. I would hate to waste my time if one method doesn't work as well as the other. Thank you again.
I printed some washi paper onto a full sheet of Avery label paper. The color is very faint. May I ask what you use? I was looking for your video when you used Gayle’s printable but I couldn’t find it again. Thanks in advance. I wish I could be your neighbor in Italy.
Hahaha I would love everyone to be my neighbour! that would be fun. I used a brand of adhesive paper called 'Printation'. I bought it on Amazon Italy This is the link www.amazon.it/gp/product/B00304Q39K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
@@karenkrafts thank you for replying, however, I was specifically wanting to know why it is copyright infringement since I have purchased the magazine and am using the original pages from the magazine. I would not copy it...that would be infringement. I am thinking its because of UK laws that are different than ours here in the U.S.
Hi Gayle mentioned someone had contacted them and they said 'No'. People were making full journals with the magazine and I guess they weren't happy about it. I don't really use Daphne's diary too much as it doesn't normally fit in the style of journals I make. Gayle knows more about it she could give you a better answer I think.
@@roxycreations679 thank you for replying. I will contact Gayle. I just thought it was ironic that I had just cut up several of the daphnes diary mags for junk journal/collage use and then saw this video. Thanks again and I love your videos!

Hi New subscriber. Really like the ephemera folder. brilliant idea
Just wondering how many pages you put in and did you sew it in with a 3 hole pamphlet stitch?
Thank you
I machine stitched down the center. I think I put un around 5 sheets. Thank you so much!
I love these! When I do mine I may try cutting up some page protectors and see if that works. Thanks for the inspiration.
Thank you so much! let us nkow how you go.

Roxy where do I find the straw paper?
I buy it here in Italy I don’t think you can get it elsewhere
I can’t wait to make some of these! You’ve mentioned “straw paper” a few times. Can you tell me what that is? The color of it is so warm.
Thank you so much! traw paper in made from straw and used here in Italy to absorn the oil from fried foods.
What did you do to attach the plastic pockets? Did you glue them on, if so what glue did you use and do they stay put? If not glued, then did you sew them on the pages? It looks like you sew them on but not sure. Thanks.
I sewed the first ones but then glied them with PVA glue.
