Their comedy is highly satirical of almost every kind of character that we encounter. Despite their awkward and intentionally uncomfortable-to-watch skits, they are really a breath of fresh air in the world of comedy. They are two genius comedians that know exactly what they want to accomplish with their act and they do it in an alternative way that doesn't require the audience to be spoon-fed.

It was heavily panned by audiences due to it's plastic corporate nature and really unfunny/cringey content. Tim and Eric essentially took advantage of this and subsequently this sketch was born.
