I wrapped my Rivian R1S in Matte PPF (STEK DYNOmatte) Advanced Protective Films (El Cap Granite)

- I took my new Rivian R1S to Advanced Protective Films to get it wrapped in matte PPF. I did this to not only protect the paint of the R1S but also to change the look of it. I have always wanted a matte grey SUV so when I ordered the Rivian R1S in El Cap Granite I knew I would want to get it matted.
Alex was referred to me by a good friend of mine who's in the car industry. He told me that he works with a lot of companies who wraps PPF but Alex from Advanced Proctective Films was the best. He is very tedious and detail orientated. I was a little bummed when I found out it would take 3 days to wrap my SUV but I knew it would be worth the wait.
There are a ton of videos with the R1T getting wrapped with gloss or matte PPF but I have yet to see an R1S in El Cap Granite wrapped in matte. I wanted to take my camera along and record everything so everyone can see the process and how amazing the El Cap looks in matte. To be honest the video doesn't even do it justice. I was blown away at the way it looks.
I picked up my R1S 3 weeks ago and the first thing I did was put ceramic tint on all the windows including roof and windshield. The 2nd upgrade I did was smoke the tail lights. I did that myself. The window tint and tail lights really made the car look more aggressive but the Matte took it to a whole other level. It looks like a completely different SUV and mean AF.
For anyone looking to wrap their car in matte PPF I highly recommend it. It wont only protect the paint it really changes the look of the vehicle and really accentuates all the lines of the car. 🤣😂🤣 yeah I took me several hours to wrap my bike as well. I actually smoked the tail lights myself the day before I dropped of the Rivian and it took me almost 3 hrs 😂

I do that in my carbon frames, suspension and cranks. Works really well!!

I got my white model 3 wrapped with matte ppf last year and it still looks mint. Don’t think I can ever have another shiny car again.

I don't care if it's gas or electric it does everything. It's fast as a Ferrari, can tow like a F150, fit as many people as suburban and looks as sick as a Range Rover ...and most importantly the only maintenance required is adding wiper fluid and changing tires every 60k miles

Yes they did polish on the areas that needed it which was only the hood and front. And I have no marring or spider webs
