Miss you Joe! Just to let you know, you helped change my life. 7 Years out of the clink, 6 years clean. Went to court and fought, ended up with full, sole custody of my daughter. She turned 10 last week. No joke, you were an inspiration. I still work for the man, but hoping to open up a breakfast spot in the very near future. I'll stop rambling and just say THANK YOU.

Get it Bubba one thing I can tell ya from being a ex f@tty, biscuits and gravy hit different when you go out to eat so get you a good recipe and perfect it. I always get them a side of sunny side ups and bacon and toast on the side. I feel like biscuits and gravy can really bring customers in. Especially on a cold day lol. Congrats on getting your kid back frfr. I remember when I fought my ass off to get my exes kid back for her. It's super hard getting full custody, I wasn't with her when she got took but trust me I made damn sure she stayed with us. Keep it up bro.
Long time fan; glad to see you are still doing alright, even if the painting business isn't goin as well as it could be. What got you the views on youtube in the first place were the prison stories. You gave people an insight into a world that they didn't have access to. That's the content people want to see. It doesn't have to be your own stories, you can have guests on, and they don't even necessarily have to be people who served times. Putting unique stories in front of people that they normally wouldn't be able to hear. You were good at it, and it works.

I mean, if he doesn't enjoy doing those videos, it might not be the best thing to do. What really draws people in is when you just be yourself, as cliche and difficult as that advice might be. But he's great at being himself, and I'd love to just hear about how things are going.
Also... I think his son would love to find his channels when he gets older. He doesn't stop working hard no matter what happens, and that wasn't only inspirational to me, it would definitely be an inspiration for his son if he sees his channels.

Brother, I have a small remodeling business too. You're not complaining man. You're just telling it like it is. It's tough sometimes. Especially through January and February. It's tough getting up every morning and going out to do the same things over and over. Dealing with the same people over and over. I'm on year 5 and I know exactly what you're going through. Keep going man as far as you can.

I've been watching you for a long time now. I'm not sure how many agree with me on this...but I didn't watch cause of prison stuff, but getting to know you and your struggle. You've got an infectious and awesome personality....and it's been awesome to be a part of your journey, however it's looked. It's been nice watching your videos cause in a strange way, I fell less alone in my own struggles.
In short, just be you...that's what's made this community from the start. That's my take anyway. Your an awesome guy and I'm glad I've been able to get to know you through this channel. Stay strong brother!

I have a painting business myself. My dad has been in it for over 43 years and got me into it when i was a teenager. Ive been in business myself for about a year now. Its very hard getting your name out there. What i did was went thru everything and got my contractors license. Ive been a Union painter for over a decade and am now bringing my company into the union to be able to get work. Theres tricks to it forsure but you gotta start out small. Dont try to go above your means and keep it small and simple. Good luck to you bro Ive been watching you since the beginning!

Be kind to yourself, take inventory of the enormous changes, improvements and successes you have had in the past 10 years. Remember what it’s like to have no purpose besides getting another fix, remember when having a family never seemed realistic or possible. You are not bad at business, in fact, historically you’ve always been good at that. Keep plugging at new things, it’s going to work out because it always has. Another long fan here. Love seeing your content. As a kid i was always curious about prison life (My mom herself was in and out so i wanted to see about it) But i NEVER wanted to go, and your stories were always amazing, and told in such a great and creative way.
I like to put your old story times on while I’m working and just listen to em, I’ve never served time and I hope I never end up in that situation but I’ve followed you for a decade now. You’re a great guy Joe and you always make us laugh

Mich love Joe. Your channel really entertained and helped me back in the day. I'd not been to prison, thanks just to good luck really, and watching and enjoying your vids made me think on what i was doing and if I really wanted to keep pushing it and risking losing everything. It wasn't the only thing, but one of the things that made me make a change and stop taking the risks I was taking.
I miss watching the videos back then. It's been a long time, so I might go give them all another watch now.

I think that's a fascinating idea. So many people approach it from the angle of "I succeeded in business and here's how" but not many people are really covering the opposite end, and there are lessons there that are just as valuable.

I was wondering why I was not seeing you in my feed anymore I'm glad you are coming back to it there's a lot of guys that have really taken off since you've been out of the game people like JD delay the connect and others. I was literally just thinking about this channel after watching a documentary called 5 Block and was wondering how you have been doing. I’m so glad you are still doing well and also just wanted to let you know it’s okay to take breaks. I think if you have that urge to get back it shows you have true passion on creating content and you care about it if you feel like it’s not 100% your best work. Keep going man!
