If a family is at Walmart, and a static no function action figure cost more than an item from the meat case, the law of reality dictates that if that figure is purchased….it was purchased for an adult by an adult.

I think that if we can put our cartoons in the anime form, they will sell anime is very, very big and they don’t even have toys to support those shows. We need to bridge the gap for the collector.

My son is 24, and he's been collecting Transformers since he was 5 (started with Energon/Cybertron) and Godzilla figures since he was 9. Still going strong. He peppers in some X-Men Marvel Legends, Prequel Black Series, and McFarlane DC Multiverse. Transformers has a large fandom in their 20s because they came in with the 2007 film.

Yeah, idk what JC was talking about as far as "what would a 24yr old have to be nostalgic about?"...if I heard the conversation right.
I would go on to say that his generation may have nearly as much to be nostalgic for as us older folks. Not saying it's better, but they were the official "Most Marketed-to" generation. It's insane how much stuff those kids had. Now this gen has essentially monsters, terrible Star Wars, anime & Fortnight. Ok, Minecraft too
