I liked how you Exercise great patience finding the marks on the pulley wheel good job.
4ZE1 timing is done off of lead number #4 (not #1) and should be done at 900 RPM to 12 Degrees BTDC with the VSV disconnected and something about plugging a thing on the purge tank, at least on the EFI model.
Apparently the harmonic balancer outside pulley can move thus the timing mark can be off .. I finished mine off with a vacuum gauge moving the distributor a bit 'till I have the highest reading .

is the 4ZE1japanese motor of the isuzu trooper 2.6 a good motor. what about the truck?
The 2.6 4ZE1 is a great engine. Just take good care of it. My 89 Trooper has 315000 miles on it and runs strong and accurate. With a weber carburetor, exhaust headers and smog delete it is a happy engine. And it is easy to work on.
Good enough to have a world wide following. Look up 4Z engines on facebook. You,ll see. However,... this engine requires manual valve service every 30k and when people have them rebuilt in north America... typically the engine shops install generic aftermarket flat top pistons. These aftermarket units are weaker than factory Isuzu piston tops. This leads to broken ring guides and broken heat flanges/skirts. Both issues mentioned here lead to premature failure and a misunderstood bad reputation. Use Isuzu piston heads, do valve lash and oil changes on time, you,ll be happy.

Can a 4ze1 work with a five speed box
I got the same engine but the dumpstick looks not the engine's, what is the oil capacity for 4ze1? Currently I put 3.5L of oil but I believe it's much lower than the vehicle required...

The crannk shaft position are in the distribuitor ( Isuzu 2.6 4ze1)?
Yes, on the ITEC systems, the distributor is the crank angle sensor. Its a photoelectric distributor that uses an optical eye to see what position the shaft is in. 259 degrees and then TDC
whats making the popping noise when you rev it right up? because my motor does the same
This Troop sat in the bush for 3 years before I filmed this video, the exhaust was rotten, and it was burning a bit rich. if you have straight pipe exhaust it may also do the same thing as there is not muffler. I replaced the exhaust on this troop with Walker exhaust and a Bosche O2 sensor.
