Fantastic build Chris. An old flathead has a "crab style" distributor. For future reference, the plug wires come out the sides and the coil wire comes from the top. There were some newer ones that had a standard distributor often they also were usually running 12 volts with an alternator instead of a dynamo up top.
Thanks Justin! Good to know about the distributor. I really know nothing about these Ford flatheads and I thought there was a good chance I was doing it wrong.
Awesome looking build Chris!! I need to try the fling part on one of my builds. Old rusty builds are getting to be my Fav to do. I tried some chipping and glue/salt on mine and it turned out ok, I understand better what to do on the next... Lol Awesome job again! LLAP 🖖
Great video. I like the technique you did. Createx paints give me trouble every time I try to use them. Took me an hour to clean my air gun on the last use. Never again
Great looking build Chris!! And nice video too..... 😉👍
Thanks so much Tim!
That's really cool. The trick with the salt works so good. A rear bumper would look good.
I'd totally drive that hot rod jalopy.
Thanks so much! I would love to cruise around in a real one of these as well! 😃
That came out looking awesome, Chris, very well done, brother!! ✌️😁
Thanks so much, Stephen I appreciate it!
Cool build Chris! All of the techniques you used really came together! I love it! 😎👍
Thanks so much Mike!

@CBModelworks they are cool but kind of odd little engines. They have two water pumps and two sets of radiator hoses.
Subbed... like the dirty window effect... nice touch to an awesome build!
Thank you so much!
Really cool
Job bro
Thank you so much!
Very cool.. love it..thanks for joining the gb.
Thank you brother! Was another fun one!

Thank you so much Bruce! May the force be with you!
You have the plug wires coming out of the coil. The plug wires come out out of the rounded bumps on the sides of the dizzy!!!!
Thanks Chuck! I had no clue when I build it. Don’t know anything about Ford flatheads. Good thing I don’t have to start the engine for real 😂
You used Donor Tires from a Foreign Kit ( outside the kit )
Nice! I thought the stock tires were a little too skinny. Thank for watching!
I am going to build mine with ALL 4 custom tires as back tires, and 2 stock tires as front tires. I am going to NOT use front fenders.
A dually!! That’s awesome. Comment a picture of it when you’re done on my Facebook post. I would love to see it!!

Thanks so much. I think next time I’ll just use the sponge to put the Createx paint on.
