I moved from Cleveland 34yrs ago. FOREVER, I have been trying to think of the name of a downtown Tavern. They had corned beef sandwiches that were AMAZING. It seemed to be very small, next to an alley and close to a Wendy's that was at the corner. They'd wrap them in foil and toss in a brown paper bag. My Mom talks about it annually, lol. I've been a vegetarian for over 20yrs but I honestly wonder if I'd be tempted to risk it all if I had one in my hands. hahahhaah...
Herb's Tavern? It's on the video
Worked at a restaurant called Miller's in lakewood junior year in high school if anybody remembers that place

I thought it was the coolest thing as a kid to throw peanut shells on the floor.
I moved from Cleveland in 1980. Do you all still have The Whip, Brown Derby, Friendly's or Nunzio's Pizzeria? Fond memories of those places.
What about cafeteria in Woolworth's that was located on W35th street in Ohio City? I can't remember if they were still around then. I had a newspaper route back then, so when I got paid, my Mom and I would each get a shrimp basket that included fries, along with a drink.
The Woolworth's had a myna bird in the pet department. My dad eventually got it to say his name 'Charles'.
We ate at The Brown Derby
Liberty Pizza should have been on the list, . Some of the best Cleveland Pizza in the 80s and they were open all night. .Located in Old Brooklyn, . Unfortunately they closed in the early 2000s
