    You have to love how in Civil War the same people who are lecturing the Avengers about how dangerous they now are were the same people who tried to fire a Nuclear Missile at the Island of Manhattan, while it was still full of people. 21:45 to be fair the reason why the watches are moving or spinning within the drawer is that the majority if not all of them are probably automatic watches which have to stay in motion so you do not have to constantly be manually winding them and resetting the time when you eventually wear it again. I want a drawer like that😅

    • @helveteisme
      @helveteisme 2 года назад +13

      its still wrong in that case though. a practical watch drawer for that purpose would have the slots at an angle, not flat down.

    • @jlegasp

      I see your point and I noticed that but my guess is that the props person probably got a wall mounted unit or one that stays vertical on a desk then had it mounted on its back within the drawer for visual effect. The idea is there but the true functionality is a tad off. These cases or drawers are still dope though😁

    I said this before and the regular doctor strange one, but I'll say it again the difference is that in the first surgery it was more or less routine where the second surgery was something that he was doing without an important instrument which means he really had to focus on the task at hand. It would be akin to driving to work versus driving in a chaotic situation that needs your complete focus. While you should probably focus on your standard drive, you're used to the flow of traffic and you can be more relaxed while listening to music but in a high stress situation your brain needs to be able to shut out all that stuff because you are focusing on what needs to have focus and you can't afford to be distracted.

    In regard to the point about Bucky's mind control book, it was likely used whenever the mind control encountered a stimulus that weakened it. Given that everything Bucky knew by the time of The Winter Soldier was long dead, the book's absence and casual location was likely because nothing had triggered Bucky's memory in ages and so the use of the book was neglected and forgotten due to no need for it arising.

    For an advanced synthetic mind, the fact that Vision can't distinguish causality from correlation, makes me not worry about the robots taking over. :) But, you have to understand, Vision is a super overpowered character in the comic books. I disagree, I understand why Tony lashes out, a fair amount of it might actually be because Cap knew and even bother to tell Tony. As much as Tony didn't have the best relationship with his father and he, especially in Iron Man 2, had a chance to discover how much his father really cared for him, he did have a very strong relationship with his mother and I feel like he blames partly the fact that his parents were taken away from him to be the cause of why he became like he did, before he became a hero. But I will agree that Tony should have been able to accept what happened as not Bucky's fault, but I feel like for that to happen Bucky might have had to actually apologize instead of Steve trying to convince Tony to just let it go.

    21:45 that's a watch rotator, not all watches have batteries and without movement they'd stop and you'd have to set the time every time you want to wear one. They're not expensive, it's just a slow rotating rod that keeps the movement and the charge going

    There's an easy answer to why Loki didn't steal & use the Tesseract earlier. Because all he wanted was to rule, & he got his wish when he was pretending to be Odin. Simple as that really. The Tesseract in Avengers was just a tool to try & rule Earth.

    At 11:45 ish, Hawkeye teams with cap bc he has a family. If he were to sign the accords then everyone, including his enemies, would be able to find out about them. If I were Hawkeye that would give me enough reason to side with Cap.

      No, he they had the option to retire in case they didn't accept the accords, that's why Hawkeye did that in the movie.

    Sadly as much as I enjoyed these movies. Jeremy is right. I mean 1 out of 100 he missed labeled 3 sins but the rest is correct. Good job and not one bonner joke. On point. The spidermam fighting the avengers quip is a call back to civil war fight. Trees in the suburbs are not high enough to swing properly not even the street lights.

    At 42:03 So without a spacesuit Unless you're in a particularly inhospitable spot in space It would take anywhere between 60 seconds to 3 minutes to live you would die from Asphyxiation long before you freeze it off Unless you're in a really cold place it takes 12 to 24 hours to freeze completely and you could be brought back with CPR within about 7 or so minutes
