The arrows showing the transfer of the hydrogen to the carbonyl oxygen are confusing because mechanistically (curved arrow mechanism), the arrow is drawn from the electron pair in the carbonyl oxygen double bond TO the alcohol hydrogen.
Thank you for showing the last reaction on how cyclic hemiacetals are produced. My book gave examples with no explanation as why they become cyclic. Thank you!
Genial~~ formation of hemiacetals have made me crazy for a while. Although I watched many videos on it I couldn't get it cleary, but eventually I can say "AH~" :) -simplicity is the best
simplest but most helpful tutorial so far. thank you for specifying which atom bonds to which.

Thank you to the moon and back
Great job. Keep it up.
What a fantastic video, thank you.
It was amazing I understood very well thank you very much 💙
How can you possibly have the electron arrow from H to O=C?! It's not a hydride and there's no way the electrons from a Hydrogen would give it up.

Thank you SO MUCH for making this simple for me!
Thank you! You save my life ... i like you💜💜💜💜💜
this is so beyond helpful thank you so much!!
You are great 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👏🏽👏🏽
this was beautiful thank you!!
Thank you 🥰
Thank u so so much ,this video helped me
Thanks, nice explanation
Good job
Ketal not Acetal !!
The atom arrow transfers are wrong
Thanks
thank you !
2nd is ketal
you get hemiketal from a ketone+alcohol....other than that this is a helpful video!
Arrow pointing in wrong direction!
its ketal
its ketal
