Heyy! I loved the tutorial! Its so easy to follow and so descriptive! Could you please give the measurement of the fabric you cut. (If I missed this part in the video, I apologize!)
Its my friends birthday in 25 and we are planning to have a 'gods and goddesses themed photoshoot'. This is really helpful and easy to make for beginners, thank you very much!
First and foremost girl you are gorgeous!!! Second thank you so much for the tutorial. It is by far the only video I have found that breaks it down so simply. I can't wait to watch and create more of your styles. You have gained a new subscriber
So sorry for my late reply! YOU ARE SO SWEET 🥺, thank you so much for joining our family. I am so glad you found this video useful. I love sharing and creating DIYs. If you ever have anything you’d like for me to cover, feel free to lmk.
Okay so can we get into how this video truly is beginner friendly ❤ I’m a beginner at this but you video was super easy to follow. Great video!! New subbie here🥰
Sooo helpful!!😍 the best beginner friendly video i’ve seen! I’m making a 2 piece set for my birthday shoot and this is definitely the method im using for the skirt!
Thanks for watching 😘 I cut about 3 yards due to my height (4’10”). If you are taller and you’d like your skirt to drape down like mine does in this video, I’d suggest tailoring your measurements to your height. Hope this helps!
This came out so cute! I have a question tho. I know to measure the hips for a high waist. But how did you cut the fabric based on your measurements? Thank you so much!
Hey Love! Honestly, I kept it simple. Height (for how long I wanted to the skirt to be, then my waist, and then the elastic to my liking.) Basically, the skirt was cut out to a rectangle
First and foremost, you are beautiful! Would this work with the addition of tulle on top? In my head, I am thinking it would (and I am probably overthinking it). I am doing a photoshoot and want a piece that wows! Feel free to let me know.
Girl, you served us! Finally a easy and pretty understandable tutorial... Love the skirt and I'll try it. What music was playing at the ending of the video?
You’re so sweet! Thank you! I am glad you enjoyed it. Also, honestly Love it was a random song I found on SoundCloud when I searched “none copyrighted music”. If I find the link, I’ll com back here and reply with the link.
Hi! I was wondering if you don't mind sharing with me where you got the fabric. I have a business license and currently searching for sources of fabric
Hi Love! Everyone’s measurement will be different depending on your height x weight. To find your skirt’s W X H measurements simply measure around your upper hip and then from your upper hip to your feet or beyond (if you want your skirt to drag like mine). With those measurements you’ll know what size to cut out your rectangle. I hope this helps!
OK , i am a total begginer and I do not understand shit. First you didn't even explain how to cut the whole dress. How to cut the bottom part to look rounded, how to cut the length and the waist? U need to be more specific, we are not reading ur mind.
I didn’t explain that because it’s irrelevant as I did not cut the bottom part “rounded”. This DIY is really simple, 1. Measure your waist and waist down, 2. Cut out a rectangle and 3. Sew on the elastic. Nothing really complicated here. Also, there is more info in the comments.
Hey Loves, watch this video in HD for the best resolution! For Part #2 of how I made the corset, comment “Corset

Hey, love this video!
How many yards of fabric?
Thanks Love! I measured around my upper waist x the height from my waist down, to determine the length I wanted the skirt to be 🤍
I love this video so much!!! How many metres/ yards of the fabric did you use for the skirt?

Pls how did u cut de skirt to get dat wide slit
Hi Love, I simply cut out a rectangle and sewed the front of the skirt at an angle to achieve a slit look. Hope this helps!
First and foremost, you are beautiful! Would this work with the addition of tulle on top? In my head, I am thinking it would (and I am probably overthinking it). I am doing a photoshoot and want a piece that wows! Feel free to let me know.
