Aww this makes me so happy! I truly enjoy creating these helpful videos, and it makes me happy when the reason it was intended for is achieved. I'll keep making them.
Thanks so muchfor this great video. I still have a question though. The internet works down in the stations, so we can check the APP to see the best exit?
Thank you for your kind words 😍 Not all metro stations have photo booths but big ones like Chatelet have them. Also all the big train stations (Gare to Nord, Montparnasse, Gare de l'est, Saint Lazare, Gare de Lyon) have them too.
It's about 25 mins by metro and just 5 stops. The metro is very easy to take from the Eiffel tower to Champs Elysees and cheap. It might even be faster depending on the time of the day if you factor in road traffic. But an Uber is also possible.
Yes! What I mean by validating is that "you tap your Navigo pass on the fare gates before you take the metro or if you have a paper ticket, you slide it through the fare gates slot" as shown in the video at 04:58 and 04:12 respectively. I hope it's clearer now 😀
Nice video - question, how to best buy for the CDG RER? At Gare de Nord a few weeks ago the ticket counter was closed and the machine lines were 20 plus minutes. Total nightmare.
Good question! You can buy it on the IDF Mobilités app. If you already have a Navigo easy pass, just go to the app, click "purchases", click on "on my Navigo pass" read your pass, select "single tickets" and scroll down until you see "CDG Airport ticket" and then it will be loaded to your Navigo. You can also buy it directly on your phone if you don't have a Navigo pass. Go to the app, select "on my iphone" and follow the same steps as above.
Hi, when I put my Navigo Easy card on the ticket machine I am used to seeing the screen at 11:40, but when you did it at 7:00 it showed a different screen. I think they might have changed it between when you filmed those two shots, did you film both of those on the same day or was one of them more recent than the other?
Both of them were filmed on the same day! But you're right, they're slightly different because there are 2 different types of ticket machines. One is touch screen and the other has a roller which makes the screen a little different but the end result is the same 😄
Your videos are very useful 🙏. The 10 tickets carnet bundle can be used only one day or can we use it for 3 days or 4 days ? Do they have a validity date and time? And can we buy those when we land in Paris Eurostar station? Kindly advice❤
Thank you so much! I am happy to hear you found my videos helpful! The 10 tickets can be used for more than a day and they dont have any date on them! As long as you have a ticket, you can use it any time without any troubles! I am assuming you’ll arrive at Gare de Nord, so you can easily but the Navigo Easy Pass there and load the carnet of 10 tickets!
@@dreamsinparis_travel Thanks for you immediate reply ❤️ yes you are right. But do we need the Navigo pass as it costs too? There is no paper carnets available? Kindly advise. And I also watched and still watching all of your videos they are very useful and you make it clear about all the places to visit. Thanks once again ❤️💐
I am so glad you're finding my videos helpful. It means a lot to me 😍 The paper carnets were discontinued so the only way to buy a bundle of 10 tickets (for a reduced price is by buying a Navigo pass which costs 2 euros). You can still buy paper tickets though only up to 9 tickets at once but the price won't be discounted.
@@dreamsinparis_travel Thank you again. We are staying for 3 days.. would suggest this 10 tickets carnet or the travel pass? We have plans only to Louvre, sacre coure, Eiffel and around, arc de triomphe. Kindly let me know. . And by the way pls suggest places to buy souvenirs like fridge magnets. ❤️
@@priyavinod298 With your itinerary, I'd suggest buying the 10 tickets. The Paris Visite travel pass for 3 days is 30,90€ which is more expensive and I don't think you'll need more than 10 tickets in 3 days. As for fridge magnets, you can easily find them in any souvenir shop you come across. There is a souvenir shop in Trocadero metro station if you use this station to go to the Eiffel Tower. There are also lots of souvenir shops on streets leading to Sacre Coeur.
Beware ! From Brussels on the Eurostar, the train's manager advises me to buy a ticket for the metro in the 'bar' carriage but I was fined 50 euros for having an invalid ticket when I used it !.. they make it very difficult to make a complaint. 😡
Omg, that's terrible! It sounds like the train's manager didn't know what he was talking about and they made you buy the wrong ticket, hence the fine. Sorry to hear that happened to you.
These are still available. It is possible to buy 1 book of 10 or 2 books, which have 20 tickets. Just that the books of tickets are no longer available as a paper format, it needs to be loaded on a Navigo Easy card.
Yes, the bundle of 10 still exists but can only be loaded on a Navigo Easy Pass. You can no longer get 10 paper tickets. The maximum you can get is 9, that's why I said 1 to 9.

You're welcome ! No, it can't be shared. Each person has to have their own.

Great vid, using the Metro can save a small fortune in taxi fares.
Thank you! It definitely saves money.
Hi there , l will be traveling to le Havre france ..can l still use the navigopass
No, the pass doesn’t work up to Le Havre
Wonderful, thank you. Do all metro stations have a photo booth for the Navigo Weekly ticket?

How far is Eiffel Tower from champs elysee ?
I’m coming there this December, can I take Uber instead ?
And how many stops would it be?

Hello. In the video you talked about validating your ticket or pass. What is the purpose of doing that and how often do you have to do it?
Not validating means you've not paid for the metro which means you can be fined even if you have the ticket/pass on you.
@@dreamsinparis_travel so even after you’ve purchased the ticket you still have to get it validated?
Yes! What I mean by validating is that "you tap your Navigo pass on the fare gates before you take the metro or if you have a paper ticket, you slide it through the fare gates slot" as shown in the video at 04:58 and 04:12 respectively. I hope it's clearer now 😀
@@dreamsinparis_travel ok so are you validating only to get on the metro, or are you validating when you get on and when you exit the metro?
