It's one of the most spectacular places I've ever seen. We were there on a very rainy day in the M.S. Rotterdam, and it was an almost unreal scene as we proceeded up the fjord to the tiny village of Geiranger. If you haven't tried the ship trip there, by all means put it to near the top of your bucket list.

Geiranger is a sure bet though. I'm Norwegian, so used to fjords and stuff, but Geiranger... Man... Something else! Should go in June, not so rainy, and still plenty of snow-melt from the mountains, feeding countless waterfalls.

Yes, we love our nature here, we even have a right to roam anywhere, it's literally translated to "every mans right", allemannsrett, the right to travel freely and to camp anywhere you want to (as long as there are no buildings within 150meters, even on private property), some politicians are pushing to get the all mens right into the constitution.. :D I love my country.
Basically same thing in Finland (I guess u are Norwegian), you can go anywhere you want. Norway is such beautiful country and cant wait to visit there in summer!

You dont need the lottery, you could do it in a year working part time $7/hr 15hrs/week. ~$5k for a 9 day package holiday for 2. ~$1k for round trip from north America to Oslo, Norway. You could DIY the planning yourself and save a fair amount on the package. You didn't think every college kid that went to Norway was rich.

Where is the place in Norway @ 6:17 - 6:27? Is it Trollstigen? I have been to Trolltunga in the south west and Norvick in the north. Both places are awesome. So many lakes, Fjords, mountains, water falls. One beautiful country.
I am going in August and I want to do what the guys in blue jackets are doing at 4:10. I am taking a tour of Geirangerfjord and then a bus trip to Alesund on the Eagle road. Is this on the way ? or do i have to venture on my own?

We stayed in bergen and did the norway in nutshell tour it was best 8 hours ever, this country is magical hope one day to go back and see more.

We did the trip on our own, driving around the locations we liked, so I cannot give you advice about tours, unfortunately...

Yes, Geiranger should be accessible, you can go there by cruise or by car. I am not sure about tours, probably there are much less tours in May

This is the Flydalsjuvet gorge, it is in the upper part of the town and they will probably take you to this iconic view, but you better ask
