I have been waiting for the Stouts arrival for awhile now. I am excited to finally look at a good small NEW truck. Tired of car manufacturers moving away from more affordable vehicles.
27 years ago I worked in the parts department for a dealership that sold Porsche, Mercedes, Audi, and Range Rover. Even back then, the parts prices for Porsche and Mercedes were insane. Even something like a cosmetic piece of plastic for a stick shift was like $200. I would only buy one of those brands if I were so wealthy that money was of no concern for me. Even then, I would just lease them and turn them in for a newer model every few years.
@@tv450578415They are totally outrageous in price. I looked at a 2024 Tacoma TRD 4x4 that was priced over 59k. That's ridiculous for a smaller 4 cylinder truck.
I remember the older cars with carburetor, you can adjust the AC on off with different idle speed. Even the cold start with different rpm. You can't do that newer cars anymore.
My dad drives a 2022 Maverick Hybrid, its got 79K miles Zero issues, he sold his 1990 toyota pickup truck with 210K miles to buy this ford, Reason he sold was the Toyota had crappy MPG for a 4 banger it was getting about 24MPG, the maverick 41 MPG and lot smoother ride
If he did 79000miles in two years, he better darned well worry about gas mileage. He used less than 1000 gals of gas where the old truck would have used almost 2000gals. In Cali that's over $6000 in wasted fuel or fuel savings. In TN that is still $3400 saved in two years. 10 years of ownership equals much of the price of the small truck....and he likes driving the Maverick better. However if you put 10k mi a year on it...not worth worrying about.

Hmmm, what about this new 2024 Nissan Versa basic no-frills manual 5-speed 14,999.00 car. Engine not right? Electrical problem pit? What do you think Scotty?
2:22 exception for the VR6 engine ones they’re pretty stout and great off-road. With the V8 you have to worry about the coolant hoses. A lot of people just go for the V6 model. I own a Cayenne-6 for that reason (957). Parts can be purchased second hand from DC Auto in North Carolina. I’ve owned them for 20 years. I know the ins and outs of getting by cheap.
As one of those guys only knows how to use the machine there’s more to it than just how smart you are, if no one‘s ever taught you how to use the manual tools it’s hard to do it the manual way. I’m quite certain I would be capable of measuring an alignment the manual way, if A. I actually had any of them which I don’t, and B: I’d ever been given any instruction on how to use them. But you are correct that a lot of my coworkers are idiots.
If Toyota offers the scout as a regular cab, long bed, put a tried and tested reliable engine (like they have been in their Tacoma for years) then I’m sold 🤣
Scotty, I have seen that the new Tacoma is going down in price. I bought a 2022 Tacoma trd off road last February for $33,200 with 24,000 in Orlando, FL. My truck got a tune with OTT. After the tune, it drives great. I want to test drive the new Tacoma to see if it is worth trading my 2022 for the 2024. What do you think?
Ford needs to build more Transit Connect vans for commercial use. Ending production was a stupid idea. Small business owners don’t have any choices in this segment.

Junk. Anything Ecoboost is garbage.
Any comment on the new 2025 Toyota Crown Signia.
I tip my mechanic because he always takes care if my family's cars at his mom and pop shop.
Let me guess its not available in the US
Do need adaptive cruise control
Can you do a best first cars video for car guys/girls? I’d love to see it
A front wheel drive pickup in snow country, ya right. Better have four wheel drive option, lol.
What bike is that
Toyota, currently is up Shites 1:43 Creek, Without a Paddle
I hear you Scotty. I have issues with the crap coming across the Mexican border too.
And yet my Maverick odo. keeps rolling on at 40 mpg. Stout odo. stuck at zero 😆
did rent a car with flex fuel, tried with ethanol it was worse gas mileage ever.
2001 Nissan Maxima ti.
That kept speed of cruise set going down hill.
The "new Toyota Stout" is a unicorn-riding Sasquatch.
Are 10 or 15 year old, Jaguars, money pits, can a guy get a good one ?
I think the 02 and 03 had the ford duratech 3.0 V6. He did a video on those.
No!!
Did I miss it? Where was the $15,000 truck that killed the Maverick?
Whats the truck called?
Toyota Stout
@@123ghToyota Stout
Maybe he was referring to the diecast version.
Maybe Toyota “Scout”?
You can probably get a lot of late model Tundra owners to sell you their truck for less than $15k! 😂
Not when they owe 60,000 on them..😮😮
@Aprox; 3:37-min. Noticed Those Civic cvt's Cars Vibrate From Like 75' Feet away When They Those Other Tenants Back Out Of Garage
I had a 22 Maverick, had tons of issues with the vehicle. Traded it in for a used 4Runner. No turning back
Scotty, I have seen that the new Tacoma is going down in price.
15K doesn't buy anything even remotely approaching a quality vehicle
This will cost about 40 thousand dollars in Norway 😢
Ford needs to build more Transit Connect vans for commercial use. Ending production was a stupid idea. Small business owners don’t have any choices in this segment.
Good news: Toyota has $15,000 truck
Bad news: it starts at $30,000
But not even the dealership has any method except the machine nowadays.
Great video
Thats a Toyota Raize's front facia. 😅
Are you sure its not a candle that takes batteries under your seat lmfao.
15k truck that will up marked to sell for 25-30k just like the Maverick.
Toyota raize 1.0 turbo 3 cylinder very happy with the car.
