Affordable and accessible housing is lit af especially in these economically tumultuous times, but all I'm asking is who left their bowl in the sink and didn't clean up after themselves smhfrfrongnocaponastack
THESE ARE SO PRETTY! I remember trying to do an attic build and becoming so frustrated with it. However, you made this look so effortless. I love the first and second builds. I must learn from you 🌸
That looks amazing! I can't wait for them to finally increase the item limit, hope that promised patch comes soon 😄 I have so many more plans for my small house
Absolutely obsessed with the cozy reading attic! Love more fantasy style aesthetics in housing, such a sucker for stone and wood 😍 defo gonna try and put together something similar for my FC room
Thank youuuu! It's hard for me to pick a fav of the 3, but strangely enough this one probably went through the most iterations before I called it done, so I'm glad you love it!
I hope you see this. Im going to attempt the first build. What did you use for the light brown walling when you first walk in. What did you use to make the couch with the blanket. What was the window in the little sitting nook. What did you do to make the closet doors. What is the brick walls that youre using. Thanks!!
I just saw this! The wall when you walk is in the back of Cheese Collections. The couch is three Leather Sofas: one for the main part of the couch and two for the arms on each end, while the rug is from the Country Dining Set. The closet doors are just basic White Rectangular Partitions and I used Vegetable Stalls to make the handles. And last but not least, the brick is just the brick wall paper on Riviera Blank partitions, except for the small section under the window seat - that is made from the Red Brick Counter. Sorry for the delay, but hope that helps and good luck!
hey Ellie, I love your work and how incredibly creative you are with housing options in FFXIV. it is inspiring! I fell in love with your bedroom attic the first time I saw it but am very bad at figuring out which furniture you used / how you got certain stuff to work (e.g. the.. I guess windowsill cushions?) could you give me some tips / the list of furniture you used? thanks :)
Thank you so much Zsplit! In the bedroom to make the little window seat I used these items: Red Brick Counter x1 for the base Glade Bench x1 for the main part of the seat Leather Sofa x1 for the side cushion, but I almost swapped it out for the matching cushions before filming! Hope this helps!
I miss my druid too LOL Doing well dude! WoW just doesn't hit me in the feels like XIV does anymore lol Put my druid into XIV and it'd be PERFECT. Hope you're doing okay too and staying out of trouble!
Nice job on the upright piano 👍 I assume you used the manor harpsichord, music stand and the back of a cupboard/bookshelf - not 100% sure which one? As a pianist IRL I appreciate both the piano in the build and the orchestrion roll you've used in the video 👌
Thank you! Yup! It's the Manor Harpsichord and the Hingan Wardrobe for the back. Shout out fellow muso! I'm a pianist too! Been playing since I was 3, majored in piano & trumpet at uni and it was actually a huge reason I started making these videos - the music in this game inspired a lot of my builds, so setting it to the orchestrion rolls was just kinda a fun creative outlet. Glad you enjoyed it! I appreciate it!
@@ellienet ah thanks for that! I was thinking of trying something like this when I saw the harpsichord, but I wasn't sure the best way to go about it. Sounds like you're pretty accomplished then! Certainly more than me anyway 😝 And yes, I am a huge fan of Final Fantasy music in general, and FF14 is definitely right up there. I really love the various Final Fantasy piano collections. It's great that they actually go to the effort of making piano arrangements and releasing sheet music for every game in the series. There are so many great FF piano pieces.
Hi Ellienet I keep finding myself back to this video, I can't seem to figure out what furniture items were used to make the refrigerator in the cottage kitchen. Could you give a break down for that? Thank you
If I could I ask, what else did you use for the face of the stove top in the third build? I can tell it uses and armoire but it has the lovely extra details on it! Such a great job!
The original version of this stove was the brain worm of a friend of mine, Midori! Since we're on a budget for apartments I just stripped it back a little and added my own decoration on top. BUT! The door is the back of a Tier 1 Metal Aquarium. Here's her full breakdown of it: cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/553592478788222977/711964025499680828/BiDMidoriOven.png
This is incredible! I'm really new to FF and even more new to the housing system. I was wondering if you could tell me how you created the raised area in the cozy attic part please? Is it the Troupe stage? Thanks so much in advance!
A Troupe Stage could work for sure if you had one on hand already! I used the same items for all three apartments actually lol Cheese Collections are the wooden walls/trim - I use them as a height guide for where I need to raise the flooring to. The floor itself are Flooring Mats (super cheap vendor item!) and in the Cozy Attic I also added a few rugs as well. Hope this helps and welcome to my favourite part of the game!
Thanks Luke! Glad you're enjoying the apartments!! My staple in all of these is Flooring Mats. As you can probably tell, they're raised up off the ground and they stick right around the same height as the cheese collections - which is why they work so well together. In the last apartment, I added in some of the other rugs too like the Bearskin Rug and the Large Woven rug. Both of them are floated just a teensy bit higher than the one under it to avoid texture mashing, but thats only possible while they're floated in the air - otherwise they'd snap back to the natural floor if you tried it any closer to the ground. Hope that helps!
This is a few months late, but I'm trying to recreate the third attic as practice, and I'm somewhat stuck on what you made the bow windows with. I thought it was the square imitation windows, but after trial and error I don't think it is. My other best guess would be the cracked windows with something hiding the cracks, but I have no clue as to what that could be. So, if you don't mind me asking, how did you set up the windows?
I dont mind at all! Imitation Windows have you on the right track. I actually Use Cracked Arch Windows. They're pushed back, just slightly, into white screens dyed grey to hide the cracks. The dividers between each section are Wood Slats, then I added Factory Partitions to the top to mimic leadwork and the arches at the top are Glade Cupboards! Hope this helps!
Hiya Diamond! The window here is super simple! It's a Showcase with a dyed White Screen behind it so it looks blue-ish grey. And you can frame it with just about anything: White Rect Partitions, Wood Slats, Hingan Sideboards, or other Partitions etc
