Crazy everyone seems to want you to buy a whole new manifold. I'm going to give this a try. I only have the p1005 code intermittently. Every couple weeks it may pop up.
My daughter has this code on her 2010 journey. Wondering if it is safe to drive with this code, or if she should avoid driving? I'll fix for her next time she's home, but is it OK to drive with this on, or could she end up damaging the engine?
I put a can of Berryman B-12 mixed in with a full tank of gas. After a couple more times driving the car the light went out and hasn’t come back on. (2010 Journey SXT with 245,000 miles).
@@MelvinZoopers would you happen to know the exact product number or name of part. I replaced the back one already and the front one doesn’t come up on Amazon. It shows up only for Dodge Charger
DO NOT buy aftermarket Intake RuNner Actuators, they are not compatible with any 3.5L V6 engines. Save yourselkf the trouble and buy OEM Chrysler part for this P1005 Code repair.

what computer are you using? I sprayed my tuning valve and it didn't go away
Must be something more intense.
not too hard of a fix, will give it a shot, thanks!
On my 07 Chrysler 300 2.7 it's really stuck on there, like the gasket seat melted, I replaced it about 5 years ago. Thanks
Thank you!
what year is your Journey? You think the process would be the same in a 2009?
2010...yes...pretty sure.

Great tip!
What is that mixture?
Do you know where you purchased the first manifold tuning valve? The one in front
Picked it up off Ebay.

@@ogbeags Sorry I don't.
It’s Dorman 911-902
Is there a right or wrong way to install them
You want to put it back the same way it came out.
Did your light ever come back on
No.
Did the Check Engine light stay off?
It has been a few weeks & the light is still off.
I noticed depending on the weather it turns of and on...
Catch can?
I did change the one in the back light is of while I'm driving but when I shut it off and on again light back on 😑again
Must have another issue. That sucks.
Half the assembly did not come out from the front one...
