To me, the Ebon Hawk truly is our home in the two KOTOR games. Our safeplace. Like you said, it has its own ambience and music. I remember the first time I played KOTOR 2 I was mesmerized, and I really believed that it also could be considered a link between the two games. I also thought "if only they knew what happened here on this ship and what it already saw". I consider it as a legendary ship, and I think it can´t be even compared to the Millenium Falcon, or Slave 1, or even the Ghost. The Ebon Hawk represents something from another era. An era, that all of us love - KOTOR - even though some of us don´t like that much what they did to Meetra, Revan's astromech, etc. As a KOTOR fan since a kid, I would like to believe that the Ebon Hawk is still disappeared. And it would really blow my mind if it made an appearance in any show that we are getting from Disney.
That would be hella sick! It would be a really hard fan service if it showed up in something like the asoka series. Wouldn't be the first time a jedi flew that ship. I could definitely picture a certain droid with memory problems locked in the storage room of the main hold being locked in the ship too.
The Ebon Hawk is the best because it's the only one you as a player live in and get to explore. We only see the Falcon and other ships briefly as outsiders but we don't spend 100 plus hours flying it around the galaxy and relaxing in them. Think of all the training lessons you received from Kreia or the Handmaiden/Visas in the Ebon Hawk just from Kotor 2.
Of course The Hawk links the 2 games. Throughout Kotor 2 you are constantly reminded that the Ebon Hawk, is navi-computer voice(?) locked, where the Hawk has been cannot be known unless it is unlocked. T3 knows where as well. Assuming Davik downloaded all of T3 memories and Data, Davik's computers would know if they weren't destroyed on Taris.
The Hawk is probably kept in Vitiate's Garage, where everyday during his tenure as emperor he would use a spray bottle of water to spray the joints of the landing gear, rusting, wearing out the paint, until all that was left was degraded husk.

They might have also reverse engineered it as a means to try and make something of their own, the Fury Interceptors somewhat come to mind as far as the layout goes but the Agent's ship has the curves most Imperial vessels don't have.
I like to think a group of mysterious historians found the Hawk and keep it in perfect condition on some space station in Wild Space. Collecting dust along with other lost relics they keep safe. History must be persevered.
Your channel is like a god send to me...yes the ebon hawk is my home too...the fact that all of kotor is forgotten and not worked into cannon is unbelievable to me. Revan is by far my favorite character it the name i use mostly in video game where you can choose...its my utube pic also...see upper left corner...thank you for keeping it alive ... Later
It was on Jakku to the far left in the back behind the Millennium Falcon covered up. If you squint you see the Ravens Claw missing a landing leg & rusted to the right of the Ebon Hawk.
I like to believe that the Ebon Hawk went back to it's roots as a smuggler ship. Throughout the years it was upgraded, disguised, remodeled, and continuously acquired new owners among various smugglers and crime syndicates. Thousands of years later, with a new name and new look, the ship returned to seek out those that would help save the galaxy once again.
Wizards of the Coast’s Star Wars Saga Edition role playing game answers what happened to the Ebon Hawk. The adventure mini-module Mask of Darth Nihilus brings the players to the Ebon Hawk, crashed on a far away planet with Nihilus’s mask rumored to be aboard.
The Ebon Hawk is definitely my favorite ship, so many fond memories over 2 games. I also kinda head cannon that maybe the Jedi guardian was drawn to it by the force and recovered it or maybe even revan found and relocated it. They really did our ship a disservice like this
Well if my memory serves me right, we free Revan from the malestrom prison in a flashpoint in SWTOR. Republic players greet him at the main fleet docking station. I would like to think before the events of the Revan expansion, he would have gone back and retrieved his ship.
Needs closure! Like you the Ebon Hawk is by far my favorite. But I always imagine that HK fixed T3 and they had found the ship and flew around for a few more years laughing at Atton. I also have the Ebon Hawk emote in the Swtor game, but its still not enough. Malgus probably has it!
I really wish that it had found it way back into the MMO story line. I absolutely loved that ship and it makes me sad knowing that it probably was scraped.
As a active swtor player i have to say, i am totally fine with the content, the enclave on Dantooine, for example, was quite nice. The Ebon Hawk did not land on DK, it crashlanded. Anyway, what does it matter, at the end of the day, its just a ship, maybe its on one of the junkyard planets with all the other wrecks.
I like to imagine that the Smuggler's ship is a retrofitted Ebon Hawk. From a design standpoint it feels like a blend of both the Ebon Hawk and Millennium Falcon, and after 300 years it most likely would have been retrofitted somewhere down the line. Plus, I like the idea of iconic starships finding their way into the hands of the cunning and wily, much like Han Solo himself. But I'm still sad to this day how KOTOR 2 got treated by TOR in a lot of ways, even if I love both of the games.
I made a promise to myself, that if I ever make it big financially I would build myself a real world scale sized Ebon Hawk. It's electronics would work, it would have a/c etc etc. To top it off I would have the theme music playing from speakers spread through out the structure on a dedicated loop.
There is an Ebon Hawk healing "toy" in SWTOR. It was an anniversary gift available at the yearly anniversary vendor that appears every December for Life Day.
5:20 - You see the Ebon Hawk in one of the movies for SWTOR. The gunslinger, Nico Carr, pilots the Ebon Hawk and helped the Padawan, Satele Shan, escape.
Idk why i'm feel sad, very sad! I finished 2 week ago Kotor 1, idk what is happening with this games, but it makes me come back over and over again... My the fantasy of civilizations in univers, maybe the love story and yet the adventure story of Revan, the conqueror, the savior.... Ebon Hawk was the ship, or maybe the home of mine and SURLY OF ALL TRUE FANS OF SWTOR LORE. The soundtrack of every planet, or sector or action, Rakata Prime Ancient Temple music and history... Korriban forbidden surface... idk this univers got me so much, and Ebon Hawk was the ONE who brought us in. Thx men! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
in my memory the ebon hawk was the ship that blew up in the book "decieved", but I can't check that right now, so idk, it's probably just a mental conection I put to it
It always felt cozier than the inside of the Falcon. I love the Falcon and it's interior - I don't know if it's just because is darker and had dimmed lighting or just because of the music, but for some reason it's serene.
The ebon hawk does appear in The Old Republic as a piece of furniture and as a little model that flies around you as a idle animation to heal, but its sad it never directly appears, no mention of it anywhere in terms of main story.
There's a model Ebon hawk in SWTOR, actually. don't recall if it's a cartel market item or obtained some other way, but your character can play with it or have it out like some companion pet thing. Also, I haven't seen it in years but there was some quest in which an nPC referred to the Ebon hawk by name; since I've not seen it in years, while I do run new characters regularly enough, this might mean that it's either been cut out, or been in some side-quest that I haven't touched in forever.
The Hawk was a damn fine ship. I’d like to think it was discovered by someone who realized that, and took it as their own. Also, I do appreciate that the Smuggler’s ship in SWTOR bares a slight resemblance, considering the Ebon Haw was originally used for smuggling.
The whole thing with Reven becoming a prisoner and Mitra getting killed is just such a slap in the face to fans of kotor! It's not surprising the Ebon Hawk got a similar treatment and just shows us how bad the storytelling is in the novels and in swtor.
I liked parts of the novel. The whole "revan got mindcontrolled" was bullshit. However it was interesting how revan helped canderous to become the mandalore
The saddest part is that the mmo shows the crash site of the endar spire on taris while in SWTKOR it looks to be completely destroyed but you can still find the ship on taris whilst nothing more said about one of the most iconic ships in the Star Wars universe.
In Star Wars The Old Republic, there two other references apart from the server.. You can have the Ebon Hawk as a wall mount and the other is rest and recharged animation while healing. As I know that everyone who loves that ship would love to see it come back in some sort of way, even if there option to change our personal ships would be amazing.. I do know that there is comic that the Dynamic-class freighter of Ebon Hawk fame in Star Wars Adventures #2 issue and from what I could see it is canon, I think in the comic it belongs to Unkar Plutt but I’m not sure as i don’t have the comic.
The closest something gets to being my favorite ship is the Moldy Crow but it was never recovered and repaired after it was crashed and sadly it was seemingly replaced by the Raven's Claw. I hope Kyle chose to keep both ships. Mandoverse might tell more...
The final level of JK2: Mysteries of the Sith takes place on Dromumd Kaas. I'd love to see that remade with a derelict Ebon Hawk hiding in the swamp somewhere. That would be a lovely easter egg. One of my all time favourite ships.
You know the ships class is a Basic States Colossal* Space Transport. Pull that info from a D&D book. But the mouse is now the ruler of StarWars so who knows.
I just discovered, on my millionth playthrough of KOTOR 2, that it’s entirely possible nobody even knew the significance of the Ebon Hawk. We get some mentions in cutscenes from Carth/Bastila that I believe shows only officers and higher of the Republic military knew the truth of the Ebon Hawk, but I just spoke to Luxa (the Exchange agent in the cantina on Telos) and she seemed to believe the Ebon Hawk never changed hands from Davik and that Davik was the one to fly it away from Taris. It makes sense after all, no shortage of people hated Revan so it wouldn’t do to have their War Hero and General get blown out of space by a gaggle of PO’d civilians.
Fun fact, a freighter of the same model appears in one of the new canon Thrawn comics. It's entirely possible that the Dynamic Freighter there is in fact THE Ebon Hawk and it still flies across the stars all the way into the Galactic Empire's era.
I am playing Starfield and I just recreated the Ebon Hawk ship. Mainly because the Ebon Hawk is my top favorite Star Wars Ship. Especially since it’s from a period when Star Wars was still Star Wars. Before Disney got their greasy mitts all over one of my favorite franchises. Plus Kotor brings back warm childhood memories of when I would watch my Dad play this game. I really like content like this.
Some things like the Ebon Hawk are best left ambiguous. It creates a sense of wonder, and allows for this feeling that it could still be out there. Somewhere in the Galaxy waiting for the time when it's called on again to aid in the preservation of the Galaxy by another rag-tag team of unlikely heroes
Indeed. Ebon Hawk is my favourite ship, though it does have competition from the much younger Ghost. This actually makes the Ebon Hawk open to Fanfiction appearence...
So I played a Flashpoint on SWTOR a few years ago on my sith toon. About halfway through the flashpoint you see a ship that looks just like the Ebon Hawk hovering over a landing pad/mini boss arena. A gold star wookie with (I think, it's been a while) a laser gatling drop from the ship and you fight it. The ships never labelled, and the name is never outright said. But it absolutely looks just like the Ebon Hawk
Midboss of the Cademimu Flashpoint. He's got a flamethrower and those annoying Ungnaut minions. His ship is also an XS Stock Freighter, like Nico Okarr and the PC Smuggler.
I played with the idea of writing a Kotor 3 fan fiction. It never got past the brainstorming phase, but one of my ideas were that before leaving the Ebon Hawk behind on Dromund Kaas, T3 somehow uploaded or copied his "consciousness" into the ship's main computer so that if anything goes wrong, it can fly its way back to the Republic on its own. This way both the Ebon Hawk and T3 would have been saved. :)
I always wondered if they were teetering with the idea of having the option to choose between different Starships at some point instead of just the class ones and were saving the Ebon Hawk as a story given one perhaps but never got to it?
This is what I was just thinking about the other day. I would LOVE to see it in SWTOR, Maybe not a player owned ship, but something. I think Theron should have a story for himself where he searches for a Family Heirloom! But there is ONE other reference to the Ebon Hawk in SWTOR. The 4th Anniversary gave us a Model of the ship to use as a 'Pet'
I was surprised and a bit disappointed that they included the Endar Spire, but not the Ebon Hawk in The Old Republic game. I think it would have been cool to see the Ebon Hawk sitting under a bunch of overgrown plants in a corner of the Dromund Kaas jungle somewhere, still hidden away after all those years.
Got a better idea the Ebon Hawk is sitting in in a remote cave on Tatooine waiting to be discovered by Mando and that becomes his new ship instead of the N1.
Not knowing it's history, some scavengers may have found it and scrapped it out for parts. There's a part of me that likes to believe that we leave an impression on any place or thing which had a significant role in our lives and after we pass away that impression lives on. You know the expression "if these walls could talk, what stories they could tell". If the Ebon Hawk was parted out, then there's a piece of the characters of KOTOR still roaming the galaxy.
I have a headcanon that HK-47 is able to edit his own programming so much, to the point he can capably fly a ship by himself, somehow went to Dromund Kaas, found and stole the Hawk undetected. All in the name of searching for Revan. It is confirmed after all that HK spent 300+ years looking.
The Ebon Hawk was my favorite Star Wars ship. I was and still am upset about what happened to it. My theory is that someone rediscovered it and then the ship sat in a museum on Coruscant or Corellia.
The Ebon Hawk is my all time favorite ship. After that, it’s the Naboo star cruiser, the N1 royal starfighter, and then the Episode 2 Jedi Starfighter, then episode 3 Jedi starship.
@@100StarWars : Thank You very much! Though I have to ask: in a detailed video who would win in this Techno-Organic War between Star Wars & Mass Effect; the Reapers vs the Yuuzhan Vong?!
I’m glad the end of the ship was it sliding gradually into a swamp somewhere, forgotten. It’s not like every recognisable thing has to be in everything else.
I thought there was a codex for the Ebon Hawk on Taris, possibly the site on where it crashed on the planet, I’m pretty sure one of my characters stumbled across it but I could be wrong, I’d have to look through my characters again to confirm it
I hope this ship that we know and love comes back in a live action show like the Manadalorian. Since Din likes old ships they can have him find and resurrect the Hawk.
It may or may not be the same ship that saved our party when they were attacked by Skree in the Sargasso Starship Graveyard just after the Battle of Yavin. (SWtRPG)
since it was left on Dromuund Kaas last it should have gone to one of the empire classes. I'd say Bounty Hunter personally since they steal their ship and that's how Revan got it originally from Davik Kang so it would have been a nice nod to the original KotoR
@@TheSnoochOne Yeah, that could make sense. I just figured since so many of the knights encounters tie into kotor 1 and 2 it would make sense and be a nice touch.
I feel like the Ebon Hawk is around around in the Sith world where Meetra found Revan, just hidden safely from the eyes of the Sith which I could be wrong since it's a theory. I wish MMO gave it's appearance to the Ebon Hawk like a side quest for Jedi and Sith class, to where they come across to an unknown worn out ship which is Revan's ship and actually take a peak inside to see what's there and look at holo recordings of Revan and his companion along with Meetra and her companions. Then after looking inside the player gets three choices: 1. Take the Ebon Hawk as a memento. 2. Destroy the Ebon Hawk. 3. Leave the Ebon Hawk be.

Imagine they reference it as being junked because of a voice locked navicomputer. Kotor 2 fans that never got to try the Expansion will know
I like to think a group of mysterious historians found the Hawk and keep it in perfect condition on some space station in Wild Space.
Later
I appreciate you being apart of the community!
Maybe it ended up being turned into the Millennium Falcon. Since those 2 ships look almost the same.
@@CosmicGoku529 No,the falcon is just a modified YT1300.
Was waiting for someone to mention this!
My theory is that the Falcon had a piece of the Hawk, so it's always with us, passed down to the heroes of the galaxy.
Wait did you say Revan novel is loved? Unless that pause was incredibly sarcastic
The Ebon Hawk is still on Nath-ee-ma, while the Exile stole a shuttle and made it to Nathema
That's not the Ebon Hawk, it was the redshifter.
The intro from the beginning to 1:00 made me tear up. What a beautiful game.
The Hawk was so much my home growing up playing kotor that I kept all my swtor characters there before the merge... now even the server is no more
The ebon hawk does appear in The Old Republic as a piece of furniture and as a little model that flies around you as a idle animation to heal, but its sad it never directly appears, no mention of it anywhere in terms of main story.
Also, I do appreciate that the Smuggler’s ship in SWTOR bares a slight resemblance, considering the Ebon Haw was originally used for smuggling.
which would explain all the hidden lockers.
I do know that there is comic that the Dynamic-class freighter of Ebon Hawk fame in Star Wars Adventures #2 issue and from what I could see it is canon, I think in the comic it belongs to Unkar Plutt but I’m not sure as i don’t have the comic.
whats a wall mount?
you mean a trophy?
The closest something gets to being my favorite ship is the Moldy Crow but it was never recovered and repaired after it was crashed and sadly it was seemingly replaced by the Raven's Claw.
I hope Kyle chose to keep both ships. Mandoverse might tell more...
I like to imagine the Ebon Hawk found a lover and had other little Ebon Hawks and lived happily ever after
...Wha?
'Little Ebon Hawks' AHAHAHA
We are told that Mission and Z became successful merchants. I’d like to think that this was still their home.
Having read the Revan novel prior to the release of SWtOR, I was surprised that there wasn’t something about the ship in that game.
The final level of JK2: Mysteries of the Sith takes place on Dromumd Kaas. I'd love to see that remade with a derelict Ebon Hawk hiding in the swamp somewhere. That would be a lovely easter egg. One of my all time favourite ships.
I've looked for the Ebon Hawk in every scene it could have possibly made a cameo in, in all the star wars films recently made.
I really loved the Ebon Hawk .After a difficult battle its a great place to talk to your companiond and I really hated what they to Meetra surik
The Otana will always be my favorite ship always loved it. Love at first sight.
Fun fact, a freighter of the same model appears in one of the new canon Thrawn comics.
It's entirely possible that the Dynamic Freighter there is in fact THE Ebon Hawk and it still flies across the stars all the way into the Galactic Empire's era.
Indeed!
The Millennium Falcon is my favorite ship, but the Ebon Hawk is a close second.
Awesome!
@@100StarWars I like both but I'd rather have the sith infiltrator from darth Maul
That would've been beautiful :((
Holy shit. I really appreciate you explaining my love for Kotor
I really appreciate your support!
I always wondered if they were teetering with the idea of having the option to choose between different Starships at some point instead of just the class ones and were saving the Ebon Hawk as a story given one perhaps but never got to it?
Great vid and I read the novel and I question what happened to the ship
I want t think she I was taken on new adventures
I love the Ebon Hawk. I’ve been wanting a lego set of it for a long time. Hopefully when the remake comes out
This is what I was just thinking about the other day.
I really wish there was some kind of modelkit or something of the Ebon Hawk. I am not nearly good enough to make one myself.
Same, or lego for me!
@@100StarWars There is a Lego Ebon Hawk? It isn't stupid expensive is it?
I miss kotor! The decision to end the series was ridiculous
I like to think some Gungan found it and is taking joy rides across the galaxy.
Always figured the Sith Emperor had locked away in one of his vaults. It’s an awesome ship and would have been nice to see it in SWTOR
Would the Emperor even know about it?
@@100StarWars he probably would have an investigation on how meetra surric arrived on drumond kass and discover the ship IMO
There weren't any references story wise but it did show up as a "pet" and as a decoration piece for your stronghold.
Th Ebon Hawk was thrown out along with the rest of Star Wars history when Disney bought LucasFilm.
I ponder if these Dynamic Class Freighters might still be in use by a fair few during the timeframe of the Empire.
The Ebon Hawk was my favorite Star Wars ship. I was and still am upset about what happened to it. My theory is that someone rediscovered it and then the ship sat in a museum on Coruscant or Corellia.
An interesting Channel you got here good sir.
Ebon Hawk is truly legendary.
I hope it found its way back to some kind of life.
And not scrapped or something.
I hope it survived.
I bought a mini Ebon Hawk pet on the gtm. Does that count?
Don’t worry, it’s in my garage 🥃🔥
That ship was like the millennium falcon for us on that game.
The Ebon Hawk is my all time favorite ship. After that, it’s the Naboo star cruiser, the N1 royal starfighter, and then the Episode 2 Jedi Starfighter, then episode 3 Jedi starship.
The Ebon Hawk my favorite freighter that ties was the Millennium Falcon; I also asked what happened to it after both games.
Well, you have your answers here good sir.
(SWtRPG)
I feel like the Jedi Knight class should have gotten the Ebon Hawk for their class ship.
since it was left on Dromuund Kaas last it should have gone to one of the empire classes. I'd say Bounty Hunter personally since they steal their ship and that's how Revan got it originally from Davik Kang so it would have been a nice nod to the original KotoR
@@TheSnoochOne Yeah, that could make sense. I just figured since so many of the knights encounters tie into kotor 1 and 2 it would make sense and be a nice touch.
maybe not entirely forgotten in SWTOR. My smuggler has a model of the Ebon Hawk on his bedroom wall. Would be nice to see it return properly though.
Then after looking inside the player gets three choices:
1. Take the Ebon Hawk as a memento.
2. Destroy the Ebon Hawk.
3. Leave the Ebon Hawk be.
The falcon will always be my favorite but the Hawk holds a very dear place in my heart
