I watched this video about one year ago. I searched to buy some electric bike that i could use daily for commuting and to enjoy the Greek country side. When o saw this bike I told to myself this bike is for me. Especially when i saw you guys inside the rivers and on the rocks with such a lot of packages. Congratulations for this incredible promotion of Riese & Müller. From this video i convinced and i bought last November my Riese & Müller Superdelight GT Rohloff HS. Since I've done 6500km.... Thank you very much who inspired me.
@@LastAphelion It's about 17 months of use. I bought November 's 2021. I didn't regret it! The only problem was the controller of Nyon's which goes off because of rain. This is ridiculous for a bicycle of 11800€. Thanks God was in guarantee and I replaced it for free. Furthermore more I bought a cover for Nyon's parts but I see in rain some water going inside under the cover. Generally I'm happy. Mountains, beaches, rocks and roads nothing stopping me.

@@ikefazzio4721 There is no dirt on Rallarvegen. The hike consists of mostly gravel, but depending on when you ride your bike when the Rallarvegen is open you can meet some snow. Therefore, it can be an advantage with offroad tires. You can rent a bike at Haugastol or Finse so you don't have to bring your own bike.

I’m a good bit older but loving my Riese & Müller Superdelite and happily clocking up the miles across the Irish countryside. These bikes are simply awesome. I’ve ditched the second car and barely use the remaining car. It’s been a changing experience for me.

Excellent, love it when people come from other side of world to explore our wild and rugged countryside. Whenever I go hiking or cycling I always take camcorders and cameras, so you can never have too much video equipment. It's all about memories. I had a new (29 days old) BMW GSA 1200R stolen so just a bit paranoid given the Superdelite cost close to £9k. Absolutely fantastic video. It rekindles that wonderlust so many of us have and the reason why we chose the ebike lifestyle. Love Ike's famous last words "I think it's going to be chill" when most likely whatever's next is extremely not chill lol! Getting used to a vario automatiq now after 2 weeks its already so relaxing if i get on a different bike i am like 'why is it not shifting' .. I don't hate shifting but why not let the machine decide what is the best way to put my and its power down its 2022 ...
I hiked the West Highland Way many years ago. Those Riese and Muller ebikes would be a much better option and the perfect vehicle to do it on. Really nice production. Well done.
What a great video and such a clear picture and sound of the beauty of Scotland wow! I liked that drone view at the end too! I liked what you said about it's good being lost too! Do you know... can the R&M cargo bikes go anywhere the non-cargo bikes go? I'm thinking of saving up for an R&M and use a one wheeled trailer with it as I have 83 countries on my list to go to. Also... I read that it was overgrazing for centuries that caused the barren looking landscape of Scotland that was once covered by pine forests. There's an amazing environmental group all started by one Scottish man that is bringing back the original growth and they are finding birds long gone are returning! I like too how you spoke about your R&M bikes on such a trip as you're traveling exactly the way I hope to only I will be camping, so carrying camping equipment and solar charging batteries too. Ryan Sager hey! We had a couple of days where it was down to the wire with the batteries (range said a mile or less) but we never ran out. Definitely took planning. We were able to use these bikes because of a partnership with Riese & muller. We sell their bikes in the US. So we borrowed them from a shop in edinburgh who carries the brand.

djsbriscoe we will be sharing the route in the next few days so keep an eye on the description as that’s where it will be updated. I’m not sure if the bicycle co-op does a bike hire program or not. We were able to use them because we’re a Riese & Muller brand partner.
We'll add this in the description. Charging is pretty sweet over in the UK since they're running on 220. They charge up quick. I think you could realistically camp out and charge at a mid-day stop for lunch for a couple of hours and be ready to roll. Love this vid :)) i want to do the same trail :) i live in the borders , england -scotih , I have a ebike , but it will not do it as it is , i need more range , i have to use the assist a lot as i have a cancer , so not so wasey , i am thinking of adding a front wheel with a moter , w heel drive :))) but if i use less assist i get more range , also more griping power on the two wheels :) be happy

Hey There, we use a Sony A7iii, a GoPro Hero 8, iPhone X, a Mavic drone, and an EVO Rage Gimbal.

You're right, they will not allow batteries on airlines. We picked these bikes up in Edinburgh.

hello! most of the ride was spent in Tour and eMTB mode. We were getting about 50-60 miles per charge.

We just about used it up daily. Never ran out of juice but came within 1 mile range one day...had us sweating for sure!
How much range of n the battery?
Generally, you're getting about 45-80 miles on these bikes when fully loaded.

Love this vid :)) i want to do the same trail :) i live in the borders , england -scotih , I have a ebike , but it will not do it as it is , i need more range , i have to use the assist a lot as i have a cancer , so not so wasey , i am thinking of adding a front wheel with a moter , w heel drive :))) but if i use less assist i get more range , also more griping power on the two wheels :) be happy
