      Mostly large office buildings

      Nice to hear offices are still being built, post-covid. Out west, we've actually converted some former offices to be multi-family residential.

      @@ElectricRob It's a combined creative space with offices apartments and workshops. So not just a regular old office building.
      Converting old office buildings to residential sounds like a good idea with the current housing market.

      Hello Mr. Rob, My husband a Revit design engineer has a question--He is installing lighting protection on a building. He wants to know how can he get the lighting terminals to sit on the surface of the mechanical equipment, roofs, projects.

    Hey Rob, Thanks for the video again. Is it possible to have your electrical project template used in this video?

    • @ElectricRob

      Hey there! That template is not available directly, but I do show how it was created in this video ruclips.net/video/hq-psuAb084/видео.html - hope that helps!

    Multistorey residential buildings. By the way, any suggestion of what families to use for external lightning protection system?

    • @ElectricRob
      @ElectricRob  3 месяца назад

      Ahh, another multi-family designer! And great question about lightning protection! We've not been doing those out here, but almost did for a Florida project a couple years ago. I'd say it depends upon whether you are wanting to show any 3D views of your system (besides a few orthographic details) - a good base of symbol families and detail lines of various line styles may be all you need. If you want full 3D, possibly for coordination with other trades, you could also create 3D families for the air terminals, etc. (I'd make them non-hosted for ease of use!) and model your conductors with something like the smallest conduit possible (I've used 1/2" conduit to model overhead primary lines on poles/crossarms, for example). You could customize the bend radius down to what you need. These are my initial thoughts at least if I were to get started in this field, but interesting topic!

    Cannot assign or add 100 A, 120 V/208 V, Three Phase, 4 Wires, Star to Circuit. The Voltage (230 V) for the Circuit is out of range for the Line to Ground Voltage for 100 A, 120 V/208 V, Three Phase, 4 Wires, Star (The Line to Ground Voltage is specified in the assigned Distribution System). explain please i stuck through vedio please please

      @@ElectricRob Hey, I'm currently starting the first large project you just linked and you mentioned that there wouldn't be any mechanical/plumbing coordination in it since you'll be covering a lot of the basics in that build. Just curious, will you consider the MP coordination in this commercial project series? Thanks for the series, I appreciate it!

    • @ElectricRob
      @ElectricRob  Месяц назад +1

      Hey there! Yes! Mechanical and Plumbing models are available for this project, so I will be showing coordination of those with the electrical model in this series!
