    Afternoon Bryan from the UK. Thanks for still thinking about us old 3D printer users; as in old 3D printer... users. Although in my case I'm an old 3D printer... old user.

    This is my favorite infill!

      For general purpose stuff I like the wiggly goodness of gyroid, but lightning is hard to beat for filament savings (and a bonus speedup)!

      I used to think gyroid takes too much time, but for these fast printers it all evens out. @@BV3D

    Love this feature! We were just playing with many variable layers to build up dense infill where needed but lighten up a very large model. Do you know if it’s only on Cura or also any other slicer?
    Thanks Bryan!

      Hi Peter! How's things? Lighting Infill is in several slicers. It's in PrusaSlicer and Bambu Studio, so it's probably also in Orca Slicer. I'm also pretty sure it's in Creality Print and Creality Slicer.

      thanks Bryan! I guess I need to find it in Bambu! I still use Simplify3D but some of my employees use Prusa and Cura.
      thanks again, and lets catch up soon!@@BV3D

      My wife gets them for me, for Christmas and for my birthday. :) I credit her with a lot of my on-camera wardrobe.

    Nice! I'll need to try this at some point with my Bambu! Anyone know the printer that was shown on the thumbnail?

    • @BV3D
      @BV3D  7 месяцев назад +2

      It was created for me by Bing AI. It isn't a real machine, but it looks cool.

      Awe darn it does look cool! I've been wanting something like a voron 0, but at the moment cannot justify the cost and time. Thanks again for the content! @@BV3D

    What printer is that in the thumbnail?

    • @BV3D
      @BV3D  7 месяцев назад +2

      It's a fake one that Bing AI drew for me. I kind of dig the Roman columns for the vertical components.
