We love so much the XL-version PCBWay so what's the final size it gonna be? Just can't wait to SEE it!🥳
Omg so excited!!! PCBWay are cool peeps can't wait to see what's coming this year. Ps bring back #fulljoel
Already in progress!!
They are SUPER cool, and you KNOW that's coming back.
OMG you're SUCH A TEASE JOEL!
Congratulations, though! Well deserved. I'm SO excited to see what you do with the space.
Congrats on the new space (and the fun retrospective)! I'm excited to see what comes next.
Really loving the STI, by the way! I picked up my first WRX in 2022 and it's unreal how fun they are to drive. :D
4:48 Hover Wewd ... I was doing the same thing back in 2018 with Tiny Desk Concerts + Onewheel videos. I called it "Music Legs" and no one enjoyed it. In fact, a couple of people actively hated it. I guess the missing sauce was 3D printing it.
I feel cheated! 😆
Not a cliffhanger!
all gas no breaks reference 0:04
Ok, you'd better facetime me and show me the inside of that space asap. What a tease :)
I was just thinking to post "What a tease". LOL
OH DUDE. You'll be getting a facetime, believe me.
You Are friends with BOB from Iliketomakestuff?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? @@3DPrintingNerd
Duuuude!! Yes! Congrats!
THANK YOU! Now fly out here. :)
Drives a blue STI. Truly a man of culture.
YOU KNOW IT.
@@3DPrintingNerd Do any prints for it?
omg, I drive a Subaru too!
@@tinymito Based.
and also one of the early videos from Joel for Practical Printing and i love to see his car again!
Hm... an entire warehouse made into a printer with multiple extruders printing on a conveyor floor? Nah, not yet... or is it? Sweet STI either way
NOW we are talking :) YES, love my STI!
All people has to walk out of the printer, we are starting to print PCB way logo now!
In my dreams tonight either the whole or a part of the warehouse conveyor belt floor can double as an AWD dyno😉. Not the whole floor of course, walkways and paths for movement, observation, static printers & shenanigans
@@3DPrintingNerd I forgot you had, but I always knew you were cool AF.
Fellow WRX owner here 🖐️
With a nozzle size of oh, about half a foot at the opening? Joel out here with a warehouse printer printing more warehouses as printers?!?!
pretty excited to see the new studio! 🤩
Cannot wait to show you!
@@3DPrintingNerd I cannot wait either. Show me now. Show me now. Show me now....
That's a really nice Subaru.
Thank you! It drives like crazy :)
We know a bit about managing poorly laid out square feet ourselves, lol. Looking forward to seeing the new location soon! - Perry
The story left out when you got burn out before you had a person to do your video editing. It took almost 1 full year before you were able to get back to the 3d printing nerd we know and love. Thank god your channel did well enough for you to hire on some help and keep the show going. Thank you for all you have shared with us.
Thanks for watching, my friend!
Congratulations on the BIG upgrade Joel. Your 1,000 sq ft space is bigger than mine but feels smaller due to its layout, but you’ve don’t SO MUCH with it. I can’t wait to see what you do with room to grow!
The layout is super sus. Cannot wait for you guys to be back out this way and see it!
no Hasselhoff joke when speaking about the Hoffice? I'm disappointed
You are German, aren't you? :-)
Oh crap I cut that out. I should have left it.
Congrats dude! :) It was great to see again all of those cool things that you did. Through the entire video I was like: I remember that and that, aaaand that :)
hahaha. just think of how much more miniJoel's are going to exist in this place! :)
@3DPrintingNerd at least 2 maxi Joel's need to guard the door :)
What have you got in there, King Kong?
Congrats on the new space Joel, and thanks for the trip down memory lane!
He has King Kong armed with a 3D pen to make the logo even bigger.
Congrats Joel & the entire 3D Printing Nerd crew! Kicking 2024 off right!
Such a trip down memory lane. So many great memories. Massive congrats on the new place Joel :). Super excited to see more!
PCBWay is the one we dont want to let get away! Congratulations on your incredible journey!! I cannot wait to see what's to come!!!
HOLY SHOOT! I'm beyond excited for you!!!
What a fun trip through the past to where it all began! Especially remembering where my 3D printing journey really got started. Thanks for all the awesome videos and for all you do for the community! ❤
It's WILD to see how far you've come since getting your first 3D printer! Amazing stuff Joel, can't wait to see what's next!
I really hope you can visit Seattle and see it some day!
Man, I remember those 2015 days T_T
I can't believe I missed this. I'm so stoked for you!!!
THANK YOU! Please come to Seattle and visit and let’s collab on something awesome!
Oh man! How exciting! High fives!
HIGH FIVE RIGHT BACK MY FRIEND.
hi, im new to 3D printing and I have a question about the Ender 3 s-1. I have this printer and at the back of the bed there are two screws, however, your review did not have those. Can i take those out or do I have an entirely different printer?
Congratulations for new Studio!
Now.... that building is BEGGING for an Ivan Miranda collab...
That looks like a great building. Congrats.
Thank you!
Wish you the best as always Joel. May the new space be everything you dreamed of.🤞
Congrats. That's very inspirational to my own small business
What is your small business? I checked your channel and don't see any videos.
@@3DPrintingNerd this is my private account where i can openly comment without people attacking my business. I own a miniature and gaming 3D printing store on ETSY. I started with just an Ender 3 and a Creality LD-002H. At the beginning I had no sales. Maybe 2 a month. But slowly everything started growing. 2 orders a month turned into 2 a week. Then into orders coming in everyday. I reinvested everything i earned into new machines and licences with amazing creators. I made many mistakes along the way but learned from every one of them and kept at it on days when i wanted to quit. Now, like you, I need to make a decision to move everything from my home into a professional space, but it is a big decision to take on those new expenses and give up the convenience of being able to work from home. Seeing what you had to do to grow your brand inspired me to commit to growth. Thanks.
As a long term subscriber i feel like ive gone through it all with you Joel G-max days on your wobbly table lol.the next gen are going to love you Joel or should i saw grinder man the best video getting the grinder out
That angle grinder on the Ender 7 probably one of my favorite moments.
Mmmmmmmm... Hawkeye STI. A man with excellent taste. Really cool to see an overview of the journey! Insanely jealous of the car. Let's go PCBWay!
Dude! A 3D Print Hangar! Sick!!! Huge congrats.
THANK YOU!
Which likely contains a 3D hang-printer! 😃
Hoi Joel, i‘m so happy for you. Congratulations on your new Studio/Workshop. I‘m sure it will be amazing.
Joel, You are always a blast to watch and I can't think of any 3d printing channel that deserves this more. Congrats!! Also thanks to PCBWay!
Awww thank you! MASSIVE thanks to PCBWay!
😊
@@3DPrintingNerd We are honored, Joel!☺
YES! So excited to see the next space and all the amazing stuff you make in it! Congrats!
Off the shores of Puget Sound lies a warehouse space, where one -man- 3D Printing Nerd with 300 printers....tbc
AWESOME new facility it looks like. You need to 3D Print a giant logo to hang as a sign on your building!!! I Think that would be an awesome project! You are the guy who prints epic things, and I can think of no better way to introduce your new facility by making it your own with 3d Printing! :D
It's amazing to see all the progress you have made throughout the years, and we can wait to see what you do with the new space!
Thank you!
Oooo
OH YES
Still driving a subie! Excited for the future.
Congrats on everything Joel! I remember when you were first starting out and you messaged me about the WRX shift knob. Awesome to see you still have a subie and upgraded to an STI nonetheless. Either way, very happy for your success and cant wait to see the inside of your new place!
i want see more of that sti!
Always loved the channel and I owe my X1c based print business thanks to your inspiration, but YOU HAVE AN STI? Now I know I’m following a kindred spirit.
Sweet! Congrats on all your hard work. Just wondering out loud... Your first review, you said, was for the Dremel Idea Builder, yes? I wonder how long that frog(?) print took on the Dremel and now how long would that same model take on your fastest printer?
EDIT: Wait... did you just annex Vancouver to get more space?
Wow! What an achievement. I have to admit I had to look at the timeline at minute 8min in. :D Just to see when u might show us the "next big thing". Congrats! And High five!
Even though reality is much better than imagination, I was hoping for a 3d printed building in your back yard! 😊 Good luck in your new space! Hopefully the commute doesn't involve I-5 or 405!
Haha! I dream of a 1000sqft space. Right now I have 2 very small rooms around 240sqft total.
All I need is half a million subscribers and some good ideas.🤣
Good to see you creating a nice new big space so you can show us more things.
I knew it! A fellow Subaru driver 😊 Boxer power! Anyway.. exciting times! And in regards to bursting at the seams.. Ask Mr.Prusa himself.. he has a complete multi story factory and still manages to keep bursting at the seams 😂
As is tradition, I have to write a ton in a comment and somehow include the phrase "as a software engineer" in it, but first.. (clears throat) YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! It's happening, it's happening! (rest of comment truncated by RUclips for the safety of others)
Awesome news, Joel. You were the first channel I watched for 3d printing and much like LTT for computers, I still fall back on your channel for the latest news. I only bought my Bambu X1C after your review. I feel stupid I didn't know you were local to the Seattle area. Post-Covid, there is quite a bit of cheap commercial space around the area so I hope you got a great deal. One of my friends recently leased some garage space for his car hobby and he got it for a song after it sat for a year.
Roof scoop on a Scooby. Nice. :) Formal request for more car content! Under-hood printing is becoming pretty crazy, people are making DIY intakes, but the entire manifold. What a time to be a tinkerer!
I am so excited to see what great stuff you get to bring us, As I got into 3d printing because of you Joel, Naomi Sexy Cyborg, and Angus Makers Muse, years ago. I wish I had the business model and social media skills as you all. I hate social media tiktok, facebook, snap, and especially twitter. To me the world would be much better without the hate that has been released by them. Anyways, I wanna see whats in the warehouse, I know where that is I did work near there years ago . LOL
Congrats Joel! Can't wait to see it all realized
Joel…. I’m sitting here crying with joy.. you are the reason I’ve fallen in love with 3d printing.. can’t wait to see the next chapter of your story…. Congratulations 🎊🎈🍾
And I just wanted to start benchwatching this... now I need to wait..
Very cool looking back and see all the good memories
Uh ohhh…. Joel hasn’t just gone bigger, he’s gone MEGA!!!
My only fear is that his projects will become sentient, and…
I do feel the video title is a bit misleading. The video is 9:38m long, but the first 8:30 minutes it is just a recap (which isn't bad) but only at the End you tease a new location and thats it....
It should've been a 2 min recap and 6 min about the new location. Or change the tiltle to something like: Channel recap and outview to the future or something like that. This would be more honest. The next video could've been called like this one.
It's amazing being a subscriber since the early days and seeing your channel grow. Congratulations on the new space, Joel, I can't wait to see what cool projects and stuff you bring to us next. :)
9:05 wait, Joel drives an STI? Now I'm gonna be looking for a blue double scoop double wing STI, so if you see someone peering over at you in traffic, Hi Joel!
Oh man, totally forgot about that giant hairy lion!
Amazing can you send me the STL file for the warehouse?
hahah. I'll try to model it!
Bro this video was fucking awesome!!! Can’t wait to see the new setup 😍
Working from home being my own boss 3d printing is my dream. I’m close to it too ❤❤
Hey Joel I'm very happy for you ❤❤ we still keep growing as we spoke in our interview. We also need more space this technology needs more exposure. Good luck for the future.
Still, don’t forgive you for killing the Ender 7 that was my bambu lab before they existed. Impossible to get parts now.
Did I see the metric tape measure there? Also you're moving into what looks like an old aircraft hangar!!! I'm so excited for you
Ah! Such a tease. Fun journey though
Hoping to show you more of the inside soon.
Congrats Joel. Embarking on a venture myself of slap-dash, splutters and starts over the year but really wanting to take things in to my own hands!
man, what a blast from the past with those videos from so long ago. I can't believe I have been watching you that long. You are awesome and happy for you sir!
Congratulations Joel!! No one deserves success and realized dreams more than you, my friend. Can’t wait to see what’s come next.
I have been here since the Hairy lion🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Whoa, been here a long time!
Dude this is so awesome, I am so hyped for you! Also it was fun having a recap trip down memory lane since the gradual changes over time tend to blend together.
Joel the Subie looks awesome. Love the roof scoop too. Rally guy myself. Godspeed from Japan
It's nice to see someone expanding, when everyone else is "I'm taking a break from youtube". Good for you!
Big congrats on the new space Joel, you and Maker's Muse are the one's that initially got me started down the rabbit hole of 3d printing, haha
Love love your channel. You have enabled me to level up my printing.
And as a pnw native and Subaru ambassador your sti is amazing!
Get the car inside and 3d scan, then I'd love to see a huge printer like the elegoo make some new bumpers for it 👌 congratulations on your new workspace
Congratulations on the upgrade, Joel! Can't wait to see more of the reveal. It is a lot of fun watching your journey of awesome that started years ago!!
Nature abhors an open horizontal surface, and that new building looks like it has a lot of open horizontal surfaces. I can't wait to see how you fill them all!
"I wanted to print the logo on an Orangestorm Giga, but it wasn't fitting up the stairs, so clearly the only viable option was a warehouse to put it in." 😊
So I remember you getting the desk, and the F1, and the space needle. But I don't remember it being that "janky". Your current setup absolutely changes my memory of how things were. Good stuff and fun times tho.
Hello, fellow Seattle-area nerd! I'm new in the hobby and loving adding it to my other hobbies. I'm also really glad you were one of the first 3D printing RUclipsrs I followed. Love and Light!
I am thinking PCB way is going to have Joel do a bunch of their 3d printing work. Either as a contractor or something and let him have a big print farm. Awesome, after all, who better to 3d print stuff then THE 3d printing nerd.
I was there when it all started .you where my to go on channel for 3 D printing with Tom,Angus. I love that time when it was a lot of thinhkering a then a print a part and oh that or this can be better not out the box experience like now.
So cool! Can't wait to see part 2 of this video. Huge logos need a huge printer... a Massivit perhaps! :)
Oh man, this is the next level... Now I want to see what next level looks like! Congrats, Joel. Growing pains and bringing on folks to help cannot be an easy thing to pin down. Stoked to see what's next my dude!
Lololol, those shorts while filming the Raise3d 😂😂
DUDE. Those shorts are a mood.
oh! That was like leaving a high five hanging 🙂. Can't wait for the continuation of this story....so exciting!
Mega congratulations, Joel!!! So excited for what’s ahead! Absolutely loved the recap and journey 🥰💯
Dude seriously you drive a subaru? I knew there was a reason I liked you! Subifam! :)
My ender 3 will stop printing Right before it's starts it reaches the temp then the bottom temp fluctuates a bit then moves to the start position then says stop what should I do
congrats on the B1G new space! Can't wait to see what's in store with you and PCBway
You have me smiling and salivating for more. Cant wait to see what grows!!!
That's an awesome announcement, I can't wait to see what you can do with the new space and congrats on the PCBWay sponsorship!
Dude! So exited for you and t he crew. Can't wait to see what you do in there! One of those person size printers you showed awhile ago lol
As I start my journey with 3D printing, it's great to see the trail you have blazed! Cheers to good things in 2024!
Wow congratulations on the new space...so much nostalgia in one video ! But how do you mention the Ender7 and not mention the angle grinder Joel 😅
