I've had a few of these. The only two issues I've found with these 1. It should have had a 5.4 2. 5 speed is a must This chassis is just fun, for a 4400 lb car it drifts very well without any fancy steering mods. Ford made a mistake discontinuing this chassis and not updating it one last time.

It's a waste, unless you find a terminator the 2v is a better motor, just heads, cams, exhaust and intake manifold will get you over 300hp.. if you get a saleen or roush m90 and bolt it on with a retune 400-500hp all day.. you will need to do some transmission work though otherwise you'll nuke it..
Trust me its worth it in the end I have done a full blown marauder conversion from drivetrain to interior and exterior in my 99 cvpi but it's costly bro
I have an 04 marquis and an 03 marauder. Both 2v and 4v are great engines. I say use ur 2v and don’t swap in a 4v You can make big power with both. If ur a handy guy with a decent well equipped garage and can do the swap yourself then have at it. Check out Andrew Lavender’s channel if you don’t think the 2valves can make much power

I noticed towards the end of the video there was a lot of wires by the cooling fans. Let me guess.... the cooling control module went out and you have to straight wire them lol. That has happened to ALL of my newer vics :/

This. So much this. I love how the 4.6 2v sounds and how it feels like it has so much power in my 2000 lx but its soooo heavy. It needs a supercharger lol
Realistically enough to scatter the bottom end pretty easily depending on what pulley size you run, probably somewhere around 400-450 hp if you wanna be safe and keep the boost around 12 psi. So 150-200whp gain pretty easy. Toss some rods and pistons in it and youre good to push the blower 700+ with this particular blower.

But i can get the part# of what belt we ended up using and add it into the description for those that want to know. It may or may not be right depending on the other factors.
Problem is it depends what front cover you are using this car has a 1 bolt front tensioner off of a 98 mustang gt which uses a shorter belt that the crown vic front cover

Yeah not many cheap options really. They make a torktech kit that will allow you to use a stock cobra blower, but its still fairly expensive. They are having a sale on them right now but you might possibly be able to find a used kit somewhere to help with cost.

Only things I done was a maf, injectors, and blower. And ofcourse a tune.
As long as you dont put a bunch of boost in it you dont need built internals. Same goes with any forced induction

Would've been great if you'd have gave the part number on that belt. That would've helped people save a lot of trouble.
That would depend on what pulley you're running and if you use an idler or not.

What bracket was used to bolt up the supercharger?
We used a 99-04 mustang gt vortech v3 kit and modified the intercooler pipe to fit.

The P 71 is the Police version of a crown vic. They were modified to handle aggressive transmission shifts .
