Watching the wind just smash Ricky's shot down on 14 was brutal.
Couldn't agree more. Great to see Paul's performance for the win but watching Ricky's shots get denied was outrageous.
That was one of the most dramatic wind take-downs I have ever seen. For a good 4 seconds it looked like a great shot, and then a second later it was in the lake.

I had watched him for the past couple years in the Next Gen Tour and in 2018 when I saw him play (and he didnt even win 1st) I knew that he would be great one day and he is proving he has what it takes to do so.

I must say after watching this coverage of the MVP Open, JOMEZ is far better than CBS at the coverage of a disc golf tournament!!The Commentary, the shot changes the into the moment coverage. You guys should all make more for what you do!!! I just Love what you guys do for the disc golf community and all that love disc golf!!! Keep on Rocking!!!
Man guys I thoroughly enjoyed that round! Tons of great shots and putts, was laughing with Jerm and Uli the whole time, and that ending wow! Great to see Paul and Rick battling.

Ryan Merckel Wasn’t saying it was a bad thing, just remarking that he was very quiet. I’d like to hear what Rick says. I’d like to hear what any pro says when they’re playing complaints or not. Totally normal for someone to be frustrated when they hit a tree or the wind does something different than they expected. Even Rick complained when he caught that bad break over the water. Normal disc golf stuff

I totally recognized my mistake as I was saying it but it was too late to fix it. We do these things in one take and thus you have to live with my errors. Much like Mets fans had to live with Bill Buckner's famous error in game 6 of the 1986 world series.
This is unreal. Had no idea Disc Golf was in this stage. Awesome commentating. Can see this being on TV in 5~ years
Ricky and Paul back to back to back to back. As much as the young guns are always talked about, the veterans just keep coming up clutch. Their consistency is amazing.

*WOWOWOOOW!!!* Just looking at the way *Calvin* putts in *SlowMez* is so _insanely fascinating!_ The release point is basically below the waist and he lofts his putts so much that you just wouldn’t imagine there would be any control with that technique. _Without a doubt,_ *Calvin* is definitely one of the most consistent disc golf putters on tour. It amazes me that he is _only holding the disc for the first_ *10%* of his throwing motion and _the rest is just follow through_ after releasing the throw so flippin early! *Incredible!!*
Only exaggerating a teeny tiny bit but still absolutely amazing. Maybe at 30% of his motion and just above the waist but nonetheless incredible to watch. Calvin is so talented. He is going to get back in his rhythm and start shutting down shop. He will get right back to that nonstop winning as he was so accustomed to at the end of 2019.

Man, Macbeth just put the nail in Wysocki’s casket with that 100ft putt! You can see how salty Ricky was in the background as Macbeth was walking to the basket. Such an awesome weekend of disc golf thanks to Jomez!
I wasn't even rooting for Ricky here, but man that kick down by the wind on 14 was heartbreaking. It really was basically perfect
When Paul is driving well or even decently there's nobody who can keep up with him. There's no holes in the rest of his game he can do anything.

Awesome put on 18... That man sinks all the puts I can see the lines for but don't have the skills yet (hopefully hahaha). Only now getting back into Disc Golf after like 18 years of not playing raisign a family... Love how the sport has grown... Jerm becoming a big fan especially wen you and Uli play together the 9 at Maple Hill I watched twice I was cracking up so much. Keep up the great work and looking forward to the next!

Respect the fact Jomez chose not to put the pond jump into the end credits even though they were there filming it. Keeping from spoiling the FPO coverage is a classy move.

Jerm, I’m a huge fan a love having you on the coverage, but a couple of quick suggestions:
1) Having the players mic’d up adds a whole new amazing dimension to the coverage that allows us an insight to how these players are thinking and handling the high stress of a final round battle. However, there’s been quite a few times where you continue to talk over the mic’d player. I think it would be great to just pause what you are saying when the insight symbol pops up in the upper left corner and then continue on after it is done.
2) In many final round battles, you say something along the lines of “well this shuts the door and is over” on something like hole 16 when the gap is still only a few strokes. I would be completely fine with this if you were commentating live and making the opinion as the round was still in progress; however, you are calling this out when you already know who wins the tournament. The viewers already understand the scores and do not need this type of “insight” (spoiler) from commentators. Let us make the call for ourselves if we actually believe the tournament is over or not. I guarantee you Ricky did not believe his chances were done after Paul parks hole 16 - especially on a course like Maple Hill. That more than likely happened after Paul was parked for birdie on 17. Nonetheless, it is still not necessary to make those comments beforehand.
All in all however, I’m a huge fan and love the commentary and coverage. Just trying to help to make it marginally better for the viewers so we can continue to grow and improve! Thanks guys!!
