I love te design and concept of the house. Modern in the countryside - one with nature. It's so refreshing to have a house in the countryside - peaceful and relaxing. The tranquility is real!. I cannot wait to see the finished product with furnitures.

I've always loved staying at the Korean countryside, enjoyed the beautiful changing seasons, the symphony of birds and insects, glorious sunrise n sunsets n night skies, the never ending mountain ranges..........AND the best kept secret in Korea - The miraculous spring water in Naju. You can feel the Divine! Nowhere else I want to go.

Hi Dan! I’m a new subscriber and am loving this type of content - life in Korea. What is a dress room? Is it basically a closet or is there also a vanity where you would also do makeup? Is it common in Korean houses to have this separate from the bedroom?
Well dress room is more like a walk-in closet which is kind of common for apartments ( usually that has several rooms). It’s usually next to the master bedroom if the bedroom also has a secon bathroom inside of it

Hi, I’m interested in building a one-story house similar to your style + more amenities. Was it hard to get permits and what was your budget? Timeline? Definitely in the country where we can vacation. Any advice/feedback will be appreciated! I do speak and understand Korean but not where I can take on a project like this on my own.
